Wait a minute.....Not my ex!
Are you saying you’re ex never said “Deep Penetration”?
Because there was no penetration?
Or it just wasn’t deep.

Oh no, there's was definitely penetration on my part, but she'll tell you it wasn't deep. LolWait a minute.....

It's not even that much. A space heater is 1000 watts. 600 watt light at 18/6 won't make a big difference in electric bills.Absolutely true, that's raw power over there
However I'm under the impression that many (new) growers are also taking in consideration the increase of the electrical bill ( although not the same prices everywhere in the world ). Sure I could buy a 600w hps. But then if after 1 year of bills I pay it the same price as a high end LED cash upfront, better choose the high end LED in the beginning and still enjoy low bills later IMO
I don't know much about either hlg or mars but I'm of the understanding that they both use the same Samsung diodes and drivers?Oh yes, HLG is def better than mars
They're not the same.I don't know much about either hlg or mars but I'm of the understanding that they both use the same Samsung diodes and drivers?
Another Led vs same old thread. If you have a cheap light like some unknown company say crxsunny, you will find that your plants won't do what you want them to, before throwing your money away, HLG has a light for 150 that has proper spectrum to grow, power means little compared to spectrum. If that is too expensive they have a veg light for 100 dollars. These are the smallest affordable grow lights in the market. Please heed this post, I've only been on site 3 days and have wasted so much time trying to figure out what is wrong with plant that are getting inadequate light.even mars hydro lights are ok
It's funny...because it is true...sorta.But aren't meanwell drivers and samsung diodes made in China?
The diodes HLG uses are not from China. But aren't meanwell drivers and samsung diodes made in China?
What is cheap to you? U can get lights from alibaba for a really nice price. Kingbrite and meiju(?) is trusted vendors.I just find it really shitty that its so deceiving, noobs and non noobs alike have wasted enough of their money on lies and deception, I spent months of research getting to know the led world, I thought 1000w led was equal to of greater than hid lighting. Not so pleasantly surprised, bought 3 bad lights, first was really bad, dropped a cob a week.Viparspecs were second led purchase, better but still not adequate. Mind that now leds have come a long way. There are some very good Chinese made lights, just not cheap ones, you can pay thousands to cover a 4x4. Though prices are coming down.
If you have grown with budget light, and have found them acceptable for growing, you know what I mean. Leave a post on makes and models so others can buy good affordable lights. Crxsunny get a rating of 1/100. The 1 is for decent customer service, light detracted from this score.
We know grandpa, we knowI like my HO T5 for vegging and my HPS for flowering.
The new mars models do too. There are however 2 types of samsung diodes. lm301b ( new mars ) and lm301h ( hlg ), which is the newer version. Mars also sometimes uses no-brand drivers whereas HLG always had Meanwell. It's a matter of the quality of the materials those products are being assembled with. Hence the price difference. If you afford HLG go with it. But if you only wanna grow for yourself and are on a tight budget, then Mars or Spider it is.I don't know much about either hlg or mars but I'm of the understanding that they both use the same Samsung diodes and drivers?
They might be using lm301b's, but they're not made at the same place HLG's are. The Mars ones are probably made in China, and they probably don't have the quality standards that the Vietnam ones have that HLG uses. Probably not top bin diodes either. The new mars models do too. What light is that? Looking for something for seedling through 30 day old for veg before throwing in another tent.I recently bought a cheapo Chinese light ($35 - 200 watts from Wall.), and so far its alright, but I'm just vegging with it.
I'm an HLG man but I have to ask, how does anyone know where anything comes from? How can anyone prove it? I'll buy American every time if I have a choice.
@Stephenj37826 says it all the time. He should know.I'm an HLG man but I have to ask, how does anyone know where anything comes from? How can anyone prove it? Just wondering about stuff after smoking some Goji
Exactly. Or just the shitty ones that HLG or decent companies don't want. I know, they fake everything, so how can I ever know if it's real, lol. With Chinese stuff I always wonder if the LM301b's are fake. They make so much fake shit so if the price seems unreal I start worrying about fake diodes.
yeah, bottom bin diodesOr just the shitty ones that HLG or decent companies don't want.
