The people in charge there have turned down help for their power grid etc. They brag about not paying taxes. Yeah my taxes went to infrastructure in my area to prevent this very thing from happening.
but he's just dropping off the kids with all that luggage.

Our first fire side meal after the storm was sausage, shrimp and okra out of the garden. After the freezer food got too old, I cooked on my cat food can stove mostly. We were 13 days without power, but had great weather for most of that time.
