Quick dry/cure for half harvest(long dry/cure for rest

Hey guys I'm getting ready for first harvest and I'm seeing alot of quick dry/cure methods. I would like to do this for half of the yield that will be for sale. The other half will b for personal/fam/friends and I want to do it the slow way(jar method) so I get the best quality look/taste/smell. I'm seeing a "brown bag method" that seems like it would be the most ideal way for a quick cure. It states after the week of hanging(drying) you throw the buds in brown paper bags for another week whilst shaking and rotating once a day and voila it's ready for consumption. So basically I'm trying to see if everyone concurs on this quick cure method or can steer me in the best direction for quick cure as I need money badly and this half of the yield will b for sale. Thanks guys

They are not ready for harvest and what you're showing will be maybe a bowl when dried and properly cured. You will not make money at this point of your development

Damn that's weird , they've been in flower for well over two months and everyone keeps telling me there very close if not ready yet. So in your personal opinion how much time do you think is left. As a green thumb my personal instincts tell me they are getting to the end of there life cycle. But this is my first grow and I do not want to waste all the time and money I put into this gro so I'm taking in all the info I can. Thanks bro give me all advice you think I need  :hump:

Looks like a lot more than a bowl to me.

To the OP, the paper bag method is fine. In fact I'd do that for all of it and skip the jar burping approach. Buds don't need to be in a jar to cure.

Ok so the way I explained the paper bag method is correct? After drying for week or 2 I put buds in paper bag for another week and shake and rotate once a day. And after that they should be ready for sale? Thanks brother . Yeah I def hope I'm not gonna have just a bowl worth. Lol they way things are going I believe done right I should have great yield for my first grow.

I don't know about the shake and rotate part, I've never done that. I will often hang dry until the outside of the buds start to get crispy but not dried all the way thru. then cut to smaller stems and move to paper bags for another week or so, then trim and into jars. No burping required. The main reason some people "burp" their buds is because they jarred them too wet in the first place, and they need to release moisture.

I thought you said I wouldn't need to jar if I do the paper bag method..or is that just for the storage?

hey brother what do you mean by trim after the paper bags? i trimmed mine before i hung them for dry. i cut about 5 branches to do a test run and theyve been hanging for 4 days in utility room with ground fan. temp is 70 with 46% humid. they are drying nicely. i am going to move to bags next.

Many of us hang the whole plant to dry before trimming
Leaving the leaves on develops an initial cure and seems to hold the flavor/smell better, and it helps slow the drying
Try it next harvest

wrd i still have 3/4 left on plants. so i should just cut and hang the entire plant. how long does that take to dry??

Know anyone with a freeze dryer? Can get your shit done in less then 24hrs, dried and cured. It feels like styrofoam coming out, leave in a paper bag for a few hours to regain some moisture and have at it. Some will let it stay in a paper bag overnight but I just do 4-6hrs and either jar or heat seal into a mylar food saver bag.

I want to like this idea, but how does it smoke? Seems like it would burn too fast.

I can get a good 8-10 hits from a bowl of my bong. It does burn slightly faster but the taste and smell are amazing. Now my family bought a medium size freeze dryer from Harvest Right, paid extra for an oilless pump and came to roughly $6300Cnd. I can put in roughly 900-950g of wet trimmed down bud in for each run. Takes roughly 17-18hrs to dry and again a few hours to regain some moisture. Trichomes remain unharmed too in the process. All the pics I’ve posted are from my LSD harvest, which I now know could of gone another week before I harvested.
