what do you do with a strain you fall in love with

I want to find a stain for relaxation, sleeping, and a haze
once i find this strain i am at odds with what to do

clones or seed production

the problem with clones is it will count towards the total number of plants
second problem is when i go on vacation i have no one to take care of them and not sure if i can do a 2 to 4 week self watering

also if i go the seed route can i produce seeds from clones i take from a mother and keep reproducing for years

i tried to study and find the answers but my adhd kicks in and i am totally lost

seeds are way easier to store. if you can't take care of clones for 2-4 weeks at a time then your answer is obvious. get some colloidal silver and make some seeds
