Just thought I’d ask what people prefer. I hear different things.
I’ve been keeping my humidity between 50-77%.

77% is a shill for Big Humidity...I start at 50 for flower and slowly drop it. I’m 3 weeks in at 46%. It will probably stay there for awhile but ultimately drop to about 40 towards the end. 77% sounds like a number proposed by the lobbying arm of the international society for bud rot.
lmao, mine is usually close to 50% and it does fine, unless this old gauge is broken...I start at 50 for flower and slowly drop it. I’m 3 weeks in at 46%. Big Humidity...love it. I just shoot for under 50%-my dehumidifier is a tad small so I'm running it 24/7 and it stays right between 48 and 50. Then I raise it up a bit when drying.77% is a shill for Big Humidity...
Is there a thread for managing humidity when drying via timer/humidity control? I looked.Big Humidity...love it. I just shoot for under 50%-my dehumidifier is a tad small so I'm running it 24/7 and it stays right between 48 and 50. Then I raise it up a bit when drying.
Agreed. Week 5 or 6 and I'm belly up at the 40RH club40% when they start to put on any significant weight.

Basically I want to make sure the RH is on point without having to pop down there as much. I'm in the PNW so it's always 65-70%-ish.
Should be ok but in another 2-3 weeks i would get it closer to 30 and keep your temps down...id cut some of those big fan leaves off that are blocking bud sites as well.43% here. Should I keep it around that you think? My humidifier only has 2 settings. I have to have it on otherwise it’s like 20RH and warmer.
Yea I’m going to be doing a bit of defoliation in the next few days. I have trouble keeping the temps low with the humidifier off :/Should be ok but in another 2-3 weeks i would get it closer to 30 and keep your temps down...id cut some of those big fan leaves off that are blocking bud sites as well.
The strain/strains you are growing has an effect. Some indica dominant plants with thick dense colas may require below 40%rh.Just thought I’d ask what people prefer. I hear different things.
