looking up Mega top plant food. Found nothing.Mega. Top is overall very cheap in the long run. Before that I had been using Black Strap Molasses (Sulpher free)
worked for me last year well enough that this Nov I laid down a 3-4” layer of mulched leaves, topped it with 3-4” of organic compost and covered it with commercial grade black weed barrier. Cost me $26 for 2 yards of compost and my time.No till would be cheapest imo.
That's how it should be.worked for me last year well enough that this Nov I laid down a 3-4” layer of mulched leaves, topped it with 3-4” of organic compost and covered it with commercial grade black weed barrier. Cost me $26 for 2 yards of compost and my time.
It’ll get me into flower maybe to harvest with no need for anything but water.
You use a cover crop?worked for me last year well enough that this Nov I laid down a 3-4” layer of mulched leaves, topped it with 3-4” of organic compost and covered it with commercial grade black weed barrier. Cost me $26 for 2 yards of compost and my time.

I used to spend a shitload on nutes. But I’m in very large raised beds now and my plants thrive in rich soil and no one ever complains about the gifts I hand out!!That's how it should be.
I don’t, a friend told me I should try it, I just haven’t tried it yet.You use a cover crop?
stupid weird auto correct. Should of been for Mega Croplooking up Mega top plant food. Found nothing.
This guy's thread is very informative on no till and cover crops.I don’t, a friend told me I should try it, I just haven’t tried it yet.
You have a recommendation?
I'm gonna start working on no till myself. I just got into organics so my soil isn't all that great yet, but it will be. LolThis guy's thread is very informative on no till and cover crops.
Can also use ammonium sulfate, (Epsom Salt), 2 Tbsp/gal, just like Miracle Grow.I'd go for Maxibloom over miracle grow, it's a good all in one fert with plenty of cal/mag/sulfur.
Your second question is a Good question about user preference. Why DO growers use the fertilizers that they do? And they are all pretty spendy, aren't they?Cheap is not always a good way i know. What is everyone using for cheap food that works great? I am thinking miracle grow and some molasses, why are people not use or are using this is my question? thanks
