naa Crowded house are a kiwi band just like Russel Crow is. They are an off shoot of Split Enz. But its something that always comes up and they can be classed as both. Saw them live on the steps of the Opera house in Sydney one. Was awesome. Russel crows a Kiwi that like Crowded House we claim as our own but really isnt.Crowded House is an Australian band. Look it up. It doesn’t matter that members were born in New Zealand. The Mama’s &Papa’s were an American band even though a member, Denny Doherty(RIP) was Canadian.
sorry bern, you are the one that’s wrong and won’t admit it. You also have bad taste in music.
I saw Crowded House in Toronto in the late 80’s. great show.naa Crowded house are a kiwi band just like Russel Crow is. They are an off shoot of Split Enz. Facebook will walk back its block on Australian users sharing news on its site after the government agreed to make amendments to the proposed media bargaining laws that would force major tech giants to pay news outlets for their content.www.abc.net.au
When their advertising revenues dry up to nothing, I'm sure they'll revisit that law.Australia passes law making Facebook and Google pay for news

That's if Facebook decide to do a News service. When their advertising revenues dry up to nothing, I'm sure they'll revisit that law.
You're missing the point. That's if Facebook decide to do a News service.
" Facebook is expected to pay providers who appear on its News product, which is to be rolled out in Australia later this year."
Facebook seem to have got the deal they wanted. So they must have a plan. Facebook is free and always will be. They make a shitload as it is. The deals they have done the last few days seem to be with smaller local independent news sites which is interesting. You're missing the point.
If Facebook has to pay, they're going to pass that on to the users.
Users aren't going to pay for the news on Facebook that they can get for free on TV or regular websites.
So nobody is going to be using that feed.
So the revenues are going to dry up as people use free sources rather than pay sources.
So Facebook will drop the entire service and all those news agencies will have lost all of their income because they drove away their own viewers to different free services.
That is what's going to happen. It's already happened to entities like The New York Times. They're just now starting to reverse a lot of the restrictions on their content after their revenues crashed.
