Decades of growing plants of all types in all kinds of containers I've never needed this product. How does it reduce the time it takes to transplant into a larger container? That claim seems rather absurd.

I thought I had heard of something like this years ago but I thought it was a copper based paint but I'm honestly not sure... and it sounded like a load of BS then too hahaha

Thanks for your reply Meangreengrowinmachine. It does contain a copper. The company I work for has been treating containers for nurseries around the country for years. Some people might think it is BS. However I would like to beg the difference. The nurseries we supply containers to have 100s of thousands of containers treated with MicroKote year after year because they like the results they get.

Do you think this product could be incorporated into a sub irrigated planter system like an earthbox? It seems like an earthbox or sip is somewhat designed to have water roots... maybe just painting the sides of the sip soil bed and not the bottom?

I have heard they can work really good with an auto drip system though like blu mats. Not my style though.
