Yeah I had an estimate from when the pistols first showed.I’ve got it as 15th March start to look if they’re nearly ready but expect them to go to around the 29th for full maturity.
Light stress. HPS way to close. I think you need better air flow between the HPS bulb and the canopy.
I dont think so still. I had a light issue during veg and that looked different. Idk if it's different for flowering tho.Light stress. HPS way to close. I think you need better air flow between the HPS bulb and the canopy.
Yeahhhhh. Cuz they went purple quite early in flower. My last grow only stated going purple week 6-7 of flower.Purple can be genetics. I’ve got a purple diesel daze that’s almost ready and has had purple leaves for most of flowering lol. View attachment 4836554View attachment 4836555
That's way to close with 600w HPS, even with vented hood.I dont think so still. I had a light issue during veg and that looked different. Idk if it's different for flowering tho.
The light is 16 inches from the closest buds
Nah I use the hand technique. It dont feel uncomfortable for me so it shouldn't for the plant. That's way to close with 600w HPS, even with vented hood.
There's no reason to push light on the plant. There's always a optimal distance, only thing that tell you that optimal is the plant itself. I have never measured light distance, I follow the plant.
You think your plants are nearly done after 4 weeks of flower and you think you have optimal light distance figured out?Nah I use the hand technique. It dont feel uncomfortable for me so it shouldn't for the plant.
They look great. Just want a bit more swelling and myman said they moretime gonna
I dont think they nearly done after 4 weeks. I'm sayin how they r comin to the end of their life cycle. Ik they got some time to go but the majority of time they need has gone by.You think your plants are nearly done after 4 weeks of flower and you think you have optimal light distance figured out?
Your plants can tolerate higher light intensity in flower. Your plants clearly struggled from light stress in veg while running the same distance?
"They look great" can really mean anything. I've seen people state that when the plants are stressed as hell and look like shit. You seem to have defoliated many leaves, were they wilting from stress? Cheers!
That’s totally unnecessary but go for it. More bro science crapola.I reckon on Sunday I'll start 48hours darkness
I think you hit the bro-science trifecta.I'm feeling to flush on Sunday. I normally run about 10 litres thru then wait about a week or so. Then I drill a couple holes into the main stalk before 2 days of darkness.
Also, any advice on part harvest? There's a few buds that didn't get as much light. Would they dense up a bit if I cut the main tops so the lower ones can get more light. Like this nugget

It does not. But if it makes you feel better, they are your plants. Go for it.I drill a couple holes in the main stalk when I put them in darkness. It does make a difference
