Gaia green living soil

I just wanted to know if anyone had thoughts on Gaia green living soil the pros and cons bug problems things like that

Okay will do I’m hopefully getting some dry amendments in the next few weeks any tips and tricks I’ve never done organic before lol

Read. Read a ton. Then read more. Lol I’m new to it as well, have spent months just researching. Pick up a copy/download Teaming with Microbes by Jeff Lowenfells and read that. Some great threads are stickied in the Organics forum, some fantastic organic growers here as well.

I'm new as well, learned a lot lately. If you're in Canada, look into Pro-Mix Premium Organic Herb and Vegetable for your base mix. Mix equal parts of that, perlite, and compost/EWC. Google around and see if you can get EWC locally. Amend with whatever you want. I personally went with Gaia Green alfalfa meal, kelp meal, and mixed rock dust blend for amendments, but learned more recently that you can get kelp meal and alfalfa meal more inexpensively at local feed stores, so look into that unless you are set on using Gaia Green. Also look into No-Till, if you do it right this soil mix will last you several years.

I used gaia green soil without any issues at all. The soil will eventually deplete of nutrients so just make sure you start adding your top dressing before they need it. For me, I gave them a top dress of two tablespoons per gallon of medium at week 1 or 2 of flowering. I added more at various other weeks for experimentation during flower. No burns or deficiencies. Didnt need any top dress at all for a 3.5 week veg in 5 gallon pot.

I always have used earth juice ph down. I got so used to adding it that I could eyeball how much to add and the ph of my water would always be like 6.5 to 7 generally. No specific number really, and I had 100% healthy ladies with the gaia green soil + gaia green top dressing.
