Any updates? I love baby pictures. Mom always broke my album out when I would introduce the ladies. Mom was always the most helpful little c#ck blocker lol
Well not much to report as of yet but sure, baby pics for you The poor slow Cheese plant seems to have lost one of it's Cotyledons. I figured this would happen as it was stuck in the seed membrane and one of the Cotyledons ended up all deformed. Both plans have roots hitting bottom so I am expecting some growth to start happening soon.Any updates? I love baby pictures. Mom always broke my album out when I would introduce the ladies. Thanks man, I am as well. Once she establishes herself hopefully she will take off. Gotta root for the underdog. So far the bigger one is not really stretching much so that's a good thing. It looks like the light is doing it's job at least for these tiny things. The real test will be flowering.I'm rooting for lefty have a great day

Loving mimosa champagne right now.No, those are photos. Thinking Wedding Cheesecake and Cheese.
It is kind of cool. I went with clear cups inside other cups to protect from light. I wanted to see the roots and was not disappointed. All those little hairs on the roots are cool to see. That’s what I’m talking about!
That's beautiful.Loving mimosa champagne right now.
Ive ran the regular mimosa and it didn’t have color like this, but a very good strain nonetheless, I’m fairly impressed. Hopefully the OP reconsiders running it.That's beautiful.
Lol, I am the OP bud. I have some Mimosa Evo seeds but for this experiment I wanted to keep things very simple so I went with auto's. It's really just a simple test to see if this Mars Hydro kit is good for a newbie to buy. To see if it is all they need to get from seed to harvest. I will run the Mimosa Evo in my 4 / 4 tent at some point. Just have not decided what my new run will be. I have so many to choose from and this little test is using up 2 of my 4 plant count. The 2 photos I run will be Mimosa Evo, Pineapple express, Dr. Kripplings Mungumental, Zombie Death Fuck, zkittles, or who knows. I have not made up my mid yet.Ive ran the regular mimosa and it didn’t have color like this, but a very good strain nonetheless, I’m fairly impressed. Hopefully the OP reconsiders running it.
My bad Doug, I thought I saw a different name for the OP. I don’t even smoke so I have no excuse for missing that one. Maybe my wife is smoking too close to me, haha. But that’s a pretty good lineup you got. Can’t go wrong with either of those. This mimosa, White Rhino and La Con is my last photo run for a while as well. Got an auto canna cheese from Mephisto in flower right now. Waiting on my other mephisto seeds to get here so I can pop those also.Lol, I am the OP bud. All good man. I hear great things about Mephisto. I have become a bit of a seed addict with well over 150 seeds in the vault. So many to choose from and oddly many more on the way, lol. I hate having such a low plant limit but it beats the hell out of all those poor folks who still live where it is illegal so I can't complain. In the end a 4 plant limit gives me enough for my wife and myself with room to give away to friends so as much as more plants would be great it would end up a waste. Just means I have to pick and choose what I run next but I will figure it out The Wedding Cheesecake I popped in this thread is from Fastbuds and the Cheese is a Sunwest Genetics free 3 pack.My bad Doug, I thought I saw a different name for the OP. Im starting to become quite the seed collector myself. For someone that doesn’t personally consume, it’s more about perfecting my craft as a pharmacists for my wife. She suffers from lupus, and unfortunately there is no cure, cannabis seems to be the only thing to handle the issues that come with it. Pain, swelling, headaches, fatigue, insomnia, and the list goes on. It’s interesting how some strains deal with each ailment in its own way. Allowing some strains to purposely Amber more has an effect that’s not present when I don’t allow it to Amber. Now of course some will classify that as nothing more than a higher level of CBD, but it doesn’t work with every strain. Interesting right... This is where trial and error comes into play. I have each jar labeled by the ailment. While you pick and choose based on what you feel like doing, I pick based on effective traits from other crosses. Kush strains for some reason seem to be the link for most effective strains. So anything crossed with Kush seems to be my go to, which explains the mimosa x champagne Kush. All good man. Yeah man, herbal medicine. I am guessing it's also got something to do with the terpenes of each strain. Back before prohibition pot used to be in almost every tincture that was in every medicine cabinet. The plant has so many uses and it's rally cool you are able to do something that can help your wife. That's amazing man. Good on you. Have you tried growing any CBD strains Like Charlette's Web or ACDC?Im starting to become quite the seed collector myself. Thanks brotha. This crap they sell in shops is weak, and isn’t cared for enough to provide anything medically worthy. I do however understand that it’s a business, and their goal is to make money, not provide medicine. This is why I had to take matters into my own hands. I use to grow hydroponically in the 90’s, and figured I should apply what I learned and knew back then to now, and so far it’s worked out pretty well. Different world from hydro to soil, but principles all apply the same, just used in a different way. I’m even starting to ask people what they suffer from, and supplying medicine to help with it. Peer review I feel is a good way to determine the effectiveness of what I grow, and it helps weed out the strains that don’t work so well. And to answer your question about CBD strains, yes, I have tried most of them, and the conclusion is that the euphoric experience in conjunction with the CBD qualities is what seems to be most effective. This is why I’m growing the canna cheese from Mephisto, it’s a 1:1 strain.Yeah man, herbal medicine. I am guessing it's also got something to do with the terpenes of each strain. That looks awesomeLoving mimosa champagne right now.
Agreed. All kits claiming to be complete should definitely have air circulation in the mix. Maybe even a 20ml syringe for measuring nutes. That would be pretty sweet. They are cheap, and I’d say they are pretty essential for a grow.Still rooting up. So the first thing missing from this kit is a fan. It has an extraction fan but no clip fan. Added a fan to get some more air flowing on the babies. Also going to pull out the humidifier to lower the RH. The kit is pretty complete but these two pieces of equipment will have to be added. I will email Mars Hydro and give them this info. View attachment 4843876View attachment 4843877This would be day 7 since first serrated leaves came out on the faster one. The runt is still the runt. Roots are looking fuller now so expect a growth spurt to start soon.
