That’s how he argues. When he realizes hes losing he uses analogies that just don’t work.

@Rob Roy is it safe to say we agree that deregulation caused this power outage. And more deregulation will only cause more problems In the future.
I thought a storm caused the power outage ?

I haven't really kept up....you see I have a history of generating my own power and laughing at those who don't. I didn't ask permission to do it, I just pointed some over priced panels at the sun and made some power, that was years ago. Of course since the time I did that, panel prices have dropped significantly. Thank you free market !

Thinking of installing some on another house, the obstacles won't be the work, the obstacles will be oppressive regulation and codes etc.

Storms don’t cause Antarctica power plants to stop. So you’re wrong again. Deregulation caused the outage aka Republicans.

Weren't you talking about iced up windmills in Texas or close by though? I'm having trouble following your incoherent rambling. Are you wearing three masks and oxygen starved?

Iced up windmills caused by deregulation of the power companies introduced and supported by republicans (like yourself)

Windmills work fine in Antarctica. But those are the govt regulated ones.

It’s called REGULATION. It’s such an awesome word. I wish they would regulate everything. I love big GOVT!!!

In a free market the "regulation" comes from the voluntary interplay between the producers and the consumers. Consumer feedback is what's missing in a government command regulated system.

Government guns are persuasive, but they don't always generate the kind of positive results that peaceful voluntary exchange does. I'm pleased you have refrained from mentioning squirrels, but I know damn well you are thinking about them.

Seems like you’re the only idiot with squirrels on your mind. Must help take the pain away for supporting republicans and the deregulation that caused the outages in Texas.

Tell the guy with the $10,000 electric bill about your deregulation idea :wall: :wall: Who stepped in to fix that? Govt

what about the power companies filing bankruptcy as soon they get a little heat? Without regulation companies will come in eat you for breakfast and flush you down the toilet. Regulate regulate regulate. I love it!

I don't support republicans, democrats or any other political squirrels.

If government had never been involved, don't you think power generation would have been more local, as in many homes and businesses would generate their own or be part of a small scale local voluntary inclusion power co-op ?

Breakfast ? Yes, I'm having a squirrel omelet what are you having ?

When did they stop regulating grocery stores? Can they store meat at 45 degrees (7 c)?

Anyone care to swim in the St. Johns River where Koch Industries got a permit to dump paper mill waste directly into the river thanks to Trump's EPA? If you trust the corporate world more than gov't regulators, you are just a fool.

If govt wasn’t involved electricity would be hit n miss. Look at cell towers and how long it took to get there. They would only focus on profitable customers. 75% of the country would have electric. The other 25% wouldn’t be profitable and would be left with nothing. Under republicans

you have zero business sense

Have you considered that Corporations ARE a vestige of gov't. regulation ? Apparently not.

I think you are batting at an imaginary foe (me) . There's no need to get angry. If there were no government, there would be no favoritism given to Cock brothers would there ? (or corporate / government inbred fuckery...since corporations are a manifestation of government regulation)

I'm greener than you, guarantee it.

Competition and freedom drive progress. That's why socialism (communism) fails and people starve under those utopian horse shit models. Central planning which occurs as a result of force is a bad path.

I've been considering a portable "power trailer" to avoid the electricity police. Something like a movable trailer set up with panels and controls that ISN'T affixed to a house, and can be moved. Recently checked out panel prices, waaay cheaper than 15 years ago. Free market for the win!!

That's an empty and almost vacuous statement. My solution is voluntary cooperation, as opposed to a coercion based command model.

I'm making love...you're raping. Don't be a rapist.

So multi billion dollar corporations are just going to voluntarily cooperate? Wow. You’re dumber than a box of fucking rocks
Corporations arose and are maintained by government. I refer back to my previous statement about getting to root causes.

You are trying to solve a problem created by government, by applying more government. That will have unintended consequences.
Bullshit. Just because you say a problem was created by the government doesn't make it true.

Sun and wind are not partisan. Get government out of the way. "Federal programs" is not getting government out of the way, it's merely shifting who controls things. Let producers and consumers figure this out.
This is idiocy and is the same backwards ass economics that led to recessions every couple years back before the 1930's.

People who are not born with a silver spoon in their mouths having access to programs to be able to acquire resources prior to saving enough money has led us to having the strongest middle class in history.

Duuuude...Do you even solar panel ?
I don't haveten grand to drop on panels and am surrounded by trees so wouldn't get as much from my investment unfortunately, or I would.
