Carbon filter fan placement

I have the 4in Vivosun 190CFM fan and it doesn’t quote fit the way it did in my other tent. Am I able to set the filter outside the tent and blow the air into it? Or should I keep the filter in the tent and put the fan outside and pull air through the filter? Or am I able to put both on the ground and direct the ducting out of the tent?? Thanks.

I ran a few grows with this set-up. It works in a pinch - but it does put more of a strain on the fan. Running it this way, the fan had to operate at nearly full speed to suck the air out of the tent.

I've since moved things back inside and have reversed the set-up and the fan now runs at around 50%.

What size is your tent?

I think that’s it. Here’s the link

So now you have the fan inside the tent and filter outside the tent? I have been told not to do that.
