Is it possible to grow STINKY weed indoors undetected?

The question was indeed about super stinky weed. Who’s got the schwag? Maybe if I grow some Barney’s farm or greenhouse seeds I can get away with it :bigjoint:

I grew some northern lights in my appartement bedroom closet with 4 inch fan / filter.

It didn't smell unless you opened the closet door and if the power would go out it would start smelling in the basement because that's where i was exhausting the moist air.
We harvested at night and the whole 15 unit building was smelling it was terrible.

It smelled too when we hid the plants in the basement for inspection of the unit.

So you need to go overkill on the fan. Like a 16 inch blower/filter for your 2x2 space would probably be fine but then they will ear you

When you harvested, did you hang your plants in the same closet with your fan and filter? I was hoping to dry in the tent, sealed off with the air recirculating back into the tent

No need to recirculate air, it will be hard to keep humidity down.
As long as you have a good carbon filter thats not undersized, you won't have an issue.

Carbon filters work well. It will stink whenever you open your tent and there's really no hiding harvest day, but if you dry in the tent, you can utilize a carbon filter too. They can go quick but if you're just worried about the neighbors, then you don't need it until week 4 of flower give or take. Keep the fan as low as possible while still providing adequate air displacement and one filter can last you a couple grows.

The main time it will stink is when you open the tent. So keep the door to the room closed when you are opening the tent to water or work on the girls. Dry in the same tent or in another with a filter running. The main time it will smell is when you are trimming, assuming you don't trim in your tent. And harvest day will smell too for at least a few hours, so you have to plan accordingly. Other than harvest day and trimming, it is smooth sailing imo.

As people have said some strains are worse than others...but I've pulled off grows in apartment buildings and close neighbors...had some complaints in apartments but never amounted to anything...generally I've never had a problem...well once...but my landlord entered the residence while I was not there

Most of the time it's all good...I have 4plants in a spare bedroom now just beginning to flower...I can smell them if it's a warm day as a I approach my front doorstep...but my closest neighbor is about 100yards away...
