New growth everywhere but up !!!

We all get that man. We all did once upon a time until we realized it was wrong most times. You are here so look to other growers for advice and to grow journals for time lines. They won't be perfect due to different
environments but much closer than the breeder claims. I still have some plants that are just coming down now that were flipped to flower on Dec 1st. You can bet the breeders didn't list a 3 month plus flower cycle or they would't sell many seeds.
Valid point... all I know about autos is what I’ve seen on YouTube grows & from what I’ve seen, they harvest pretty close to the timelines every time ... I’m hoping you’re right & I still have more time than I’m anticipating bc I’m gonna need it

Is it possible to have the right ph’d run off 6.3 but a 5686 ppm reading & have the plants look like they do... that high of a ppm would show signs of burn no ?

That is an incredibly high number. When I am in full flower my PPM is around 1100. I grow in coco so it's a different medium but if you are getting runoff or 5686 something seems wrong. If you test your PPM meter on plain water and what does it say?

Fkn Poland springs comes in at 37ppm... how could these girls still be alive & not burned to shit if that reading is correct ... the plants have only been fed 3 times with the low end dosages of the flora trio line ... the run off ph tests fine but the ppms are identical on both plants which seems oddly accurate

Probably a dumb question but are you sure it's 5000 and not 500 with a decimal? If it is 5000 I would flush it with plain ph'd water and after flush see what you have. That number is way too high.

They don’t look overly “unhealthy” for a ppm of 5k ... I can’t see how that readings accurate

I’m gonna assume it’s right & it’s +5k Bc I just try testing the EC & it won’t even give me a reading ... like it’s off the chart or too high a #

It does happen. Could be inaccurate but when you tested plain water it dropped so far it makes me think the soil is just hot. I would flush them with a decent amount of PH'd water and see if it drops.

What meter do you have? They have solutions you can use to check the accuracy of your meter.

Poland springs comes in at 37 ppm & my tap at 198... I think it’s gotta be a lock out in the soil that’s got my ppm that high ... I’ve never had perfect ph & a ppm that far outta range, without burning the plants ...
here’s a stupid question ... would a Co2 supplement change the soil ppm ?
That’s the only thing I’ve done differently, other than trying autos ... the photos in the other tent are absolutely gorgeous

No CO2 won't change the PPM. Also Auto's and Photos are basically the same plants. The only difference is they have been bred with Ruderalis to get the auto flowering gene but still basically the same plant on a timer.

Yea I’m just not used to having the plant dictate to me when it’s gonna flip... if this was a photo in shock, I could veg it out... I’m just afraid these 1s won’t mature enough before they finish ... those ppms have to be the issue ... now I’m gonna fight them being overwatered ... I’m gonna need 2 straight flushes... but it’s coming down

There you go, a flush did wonders. It's about all you can do with such hot medium. Don't worry about them maturing, they are on a timer, they will do their thing. That's the joy of photos, time to resolve issues in veg but hey, no need to worry. Just get your soil sorted, they will spring back and do their thing.

In theory I should be entering flower this week & it recommending to move it down to 12-16 ... Soooooo idk if I should just scrap these 2 bc I’m running outta time ... seed breeder says 8weeks flat from soil to harvest ... these autos are tricky for being “maintenance free”
if you are 30 days in no possible way you will harvest in 4 weeks lol those girls look sickly AF sorry to say maybe look into some photo clones if you want to grow to a faster harvest

Apparently I can’t like anything yet ... so Thanks

Autos are kind of fickle - some blast thru its short veg some are literally “ late bloomers “ and won’t get their final size until it hits preflower stretch . However ANY kind of stress ( wonky feeds , excess flush , overwatering , etc. ) can impact autos upfront.

Autos are kind of easy - they need very little up front - SIMPLE feed requirements ( either from host medium / simple 2 part nute or dry fertilizer top dressed ). Sure some “ breeders “ sling first gen seeds from breeding. But they ONLY require about 90 days of average life.

I grow more autos than i care to mention and if you really pull back on high ppm feeds you will find these are just plug and play plants. Your host Medium ( if soil ) will FEED that plant alone for weeks without much else. Most good ammended soils have enough nutes precharged in it to run on just water. I use standard tap at ph 6.5 and let it do its thing ... if soil looks to start exhausting, i just TOP DRESS MORE SOIL ON TOP and just water in .... stupid simple.

Or you can ANY good dry fertilizer like Megacrop , Dr. Earth ( homegrown/ flower girl ) , Gaia Green , Recipe 420 Recharge mix , Maxibloom ( in water ) , or any good 4-4-4 general purpose.

Also .... Breeders lie - ACTUAL harvest time with autos are based on your own grow , your own environment/ skill . Those harvest times listed are from strain testing and from “ optimal “ conditions.
With autos they get done when they get done.
