Have you had problems with seeds?

How about start at the basics with a picture of temp, humidity, medium, heat pad, light.
If you can't get seeds going like clockwork, veg is going to be a bitch when you do.

Hey mates. Lately we have had massive problems in our country, the seeds just wont germinate,or if they do, they stop doing anything in a few days. No matter the brand or shop we get them from, and im not the only one in our friend group experiencing this issue. Is this global?

Are you in the uk ? I’ve grown for 15 years and these last few months I’ve had problems germinating. Some crack some don’t. I’ve not changed my method so I really thought about it and it’s winter here in UK and seeds need a decent temp to help them along, so I raised the temp where I put them and what do you know they all cracked and no probs. So maybe temp issues your end?

Not in the uk but not too far either. I also have not changed my method, thats why im clueless about this. The temp has also always been solid 20+ celsius, dozens of times. Its only the few last months that have been a bitch.

I asked a simple question about changes in the seeds themselves, so obviously the environment with all its attributes has been fine in the past. Any rationally thinking human being would've spotted that little fact, so good luck to you in your future endeavours, your "help" is not needed as you actually dont have anything to bring to the table.

Pretty sure it's not a global conspiracy to make people buy more seeds. People will just buy them elsewhere if the ones they get won't work.

Could be just a coincidence that you guys have been getting bad seeds in a run. Long odds but possible. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm up to my eyeballs in strains I want to grow out but just can't do more than a couple strains at a time. Got 9/10 on the ones I got growing now. Decided to try the old paper towel method and it works a treat. A soon as they crack they go into soilless media with a light dose of nutes and away they go. 9 - 2.5L pots fit better in half my little tent than 10 so it all worked out. I'll veg them in there while flowering a couple big ones in the main grow room but it's going to take a lot of pruning and training to not overgrow that 2x4' tent.
