Are my plants ok

I'm a new growing and my plants are 5 weeks old and I believe very small. I transplanted them last night from a 1 lite pot to a 5 litre pot as the bottom leaves have been becoming yellow for around a week. I only want them for myself and as this is my first time would be happy just to know I'll get a few grams out of them
Hi 330713

It's a green crack vegging in small tent about a foot tall under a 250hps cooling tube potted in peat, perlite and homemade compost feed on nowt but seaweed extracts fish blood and bone meal mix.
As you can probably notice I'm having an issue with k deficiency as rusting on fan leave's am dealing with it using an Epsom salt foliar spray and calmag.
Ignore useless comments it's trial and error man didn't learn to run before he could walk.
Look at it this way most people can't germ seeds to actually getting it to see the light so Ur half way there, if you don't make mistakes you don't learn shit.
As @OldMedUser said your watering around plant when you want to water all soil as your roots will then start stretching out in search of water bigger roots healthier plant.
Put another in to germ and keep her going she can bounce back and although it's not gone to plan good job for first attempt keep trying.

Started mine out in red solo cup with ziplock sandwich bag over the top, makes for a smaller easier environment to control stays super humid depending on how tight you close ziplock bag until they begin to touch sides of the bag then released them into the wild of the grow box. I'm sorry I'm not help, at this point it's up to the mor experienced growers to save the babies.

Hard to tell with so little info but I am guessing overwatered or underwatered. You may want to start over because when they get stunted as seedlings, they tend not to grow right.

Those are pretty stunted looking for sure. Are you soaking the whole pot when you watered them? Looks pretty dry like you're only watering a little around the base of the plants. Need to soak it good.

These are mine at 6.5 weeks. I had them in 3" .5L pots for too long and just moved them into those 2.5L pots 10 days ago then a week ago moved them into my newish 2x4' tent under that newish COB LED and they are really starting to take off with ¼ strength AN 3-part nutes in soilless ProMix HP. Five Nepali Temple in the white pots and four 3:1 CBD:THC plants called Sebring's Revenge in the others. Hoping to veg them for 2 months or more while I flower a couple larger plants in my main grow room but I think I'm gonna have to prune a lot to manage that. All are from regular photo seed.

As long as your plants aren't autos you can get them growing again and still get great yields.

Thank you for your reply honestly I think Ur bang on with the watering the roots. At the moment I think my light doesn't have enough blue light so gunna get a hp for my next grow. It is dark devil auto I still have another 2 seeds I haven't germinated so at least I can learn from my mistakes on the next grow. Your plant looks gorgeous

If you want to grow autos then you want to start from seed in whatever pots they will end their lives in. Give them 24 hour light until they beging to flowering then can go back to 18/6 or 20/4 to the end. 24 hour light seems to retard the onset of flowering so they get a little bigger before flowering starts. Unlike photo plants, autos continue vegetative growth almost to the end so the switch from veg nutes to bloom feed should be a gradual change until they are only a couple weeks from the finish.

Those ones you have aren't going to get much bigger than what they are now unfortunately.

what did you do to them? if they are autos it's worth starting over.

Best advice would be to keep things simple.
- use soil
-use photoperiodic plants
-water when dry with normal water, don't soak the pot especially when they only have 4-5 leaves
-Don't give nutrients until they need it

Before getting a better light I'd start by growing one plant right because even cheap light will grow plants really well.

Thank you I have them in bio mix soil I have not give them nutrients. I think I have underwatered them and only watered at the base of the plant. I also started in a 1 litre pot which I think was a mistake. I think Ur right about the light I think next time I just need to start them in a bigger pot and water them better. From the looks of the bottom leaves I think they are in need of nutrients. I'm gumna keep going with them as even if they don't come out right I can learn from them for my next grow.

Yeah, feeding magnesium, sulfur, and calcium does nothing for a K deficiency. Both Mg and Ca can be antagonistic with K. If anything they're creating a K deficiency that didn't exist before.
