dark period before flower?

Do you guys do an extended dark period before flower? I am about to switch to flower and trying to decide if I should just switch to a 12/12 right off the bat, or should I do a 24 hr or 36 hr dark period then into a 12/12? Just curious what you guys do or what have you seen the best results with... Thanks for the replies and I am currently searching old posts for info on the subject right now. Oh one other thing I am using FF OF and on my last watering I checked the ppm and the runoff was down to 350 ppm, at what ppm should I start adding nutrients when it come to FF OF. I was thinking at the rate at which the plants have been draining the soil of nutrients it would be pretty soon. A little info on my plants they are about 1.5 months since germination, I have them in 5 gal pots and am currently watering them every 48 hrs. I was waiting 72 hrs and just on the last watering switched to 48 hrs. If any more info on my plants is needed just let me know.

These feeding schedules are for hydro unless formulated for another substrate. Those transitional feedings are for hydro. Skip it in anything else.

I am using FF OF and am at about 400 PPM on my last watering runoff. But was planning on starting to add a base nutrient on my next watering. I picked up AN Connoisseur 2 part bloom. But since entering Veg I have been adding CalMag and Rhino Skin.

Why cal mag? Asking because we see potassium deficiency here frequently in early to mid bloom. It’s often related. If using tap water I’d recommend thinking about that.

As far as I can tell the only issues I have had was adding my second CMH to give each plant more room, it appeared on one plant to have heat stress and had to turn on the old AC. When I was adding CalMAg and Rhino Skin I did about 1/4 the recommended dose and am about to bump that up to maybe about 1/3.
