I believe you are not the first to ask this question. Some people do this but I think its slower...

you would probably get really slow painful growth and probably less than 7 grams....i am saying this bcus if you lolli popped a small clone you would get a qtr oz

i've read that a good average for a grower who knows what they're doing is anywhere from 1/2 an oz to a little over an oz per plant. i saw one grow where a guy got 3 oz per plant growing this way...it depends on the strain, the equipment, and the knowledge and skill of the grower. this is how im doing my grow right now...so i'll have a more accurate answer in about 8 weeks...lol

Al B. Fuct has a thread https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/6592-get-harvest-every-2-weeks.html where he says he gets 1 ounce/plant starting at 12/12 from clones and lollipopping. I'm giving it a try, but as of yet, can neither confirm nor deny that claim personally. Here's a thread with several people trying this same thing.

I don't know if anyone's actually posted what their yield/plant is yet.

12/12 off the bat from SEED???? im flowering clones next week looking for an oz each, but from a seed? i thought the seeds , from sprout need all the light they can get....i didnt know 12 hours of light was sufficient energy to grow a solid root system

yes, i am following that method with my clones, i am just waiting for a dozen to take root and im flickin the switch, that shouldnt be an issue, asctually from my experience with larger pots and having to deal with flushing a 5 gall i rather throw 100 1 gallon pots in my space F#$% that!

I ALWAYS go 12/12, and nearly always get in excess of 1.5oz dry..usually just under 2.0z
i use a 150 hps, with a supplemental 70whps for a lil boost mid flowering.
Definetly not slow growing or painful to achieve good results.

Budding starts at approx 4-5 wks for me, but it depends on the strain.

My first grow was with white widow from nirvana under a 250 watt hps, 12/12 from seed and i got an oz a plant. And i really diddnt know what i was doing. I would not recommend this way now though.

Allowing the plants to get this extra time at night increases growth speed as far as I know, there are just a lot of other factors in the whole thing. But 12/12 isn't a horrible idea.

In my experience, the root system grows well enough, but you can keep them in smaller pots. Therefore having more of them in the same space without going root bound. I havent harvested yet but Am betting I will get well over an ounce a plant.
