Well I can do living soil in just the 3 gal. Pots I'm in now then? No till in at least 30 gal?
Well yeah, but i mean you will still have to transplant it. No till in at least 30s for sure. But before you get into all that, set yourself up for success. Here is what I'm doing at my inlaws place. Hes got a 4x4 tent. Hes got 4 27 gallon totes. 1615272203753.png Then we filled 2 of them 3/4 full with handmade soil and a mulch layer. We then planted 2 girls in each pot. When he harvested, everything from the harvest not kept for use was then put into the top of the tote, watered, and the lid was put on it. Both of these were set to the side. Then we repeated this process for the other one. They were stacked and put in the corner. With the 2 empty one we filled them. He is now on a rotation 2 in, 2 out. No holes in the totes. He hand waters and only waters 1 gallon at a time. So in a couple of years he will then dump those into 45gallon ones. And do that for awhile. This allows him to build up over time and not have to drop 350 bucks filling 4x4 bed.
If you need any help setting that up let me know. I did this for 5 years cycle 8 25 gallon pots.

I like how that sounds. That's how I'm gonna do it!

I'm very curious to see how you handle these lights. I'm still getting the hang of my x3s...also did I read that you're running critical mass? If so, that's the same strain I was running when I got my first x3! I got the light in time for the flip. Ran it full blast, ended up with some scorched leaves on the top of the colas but no foxtailing.

Since I knew about what to expect from the ppd charts i kept the other leds closer to the plants to try and match. If I was someone that swapped lights a long id proly get a par meter to measure. But by tape measure and theory I suppose they should be getting right around 1100. I got them set at 15 inches from the Bulk of the canopy, I got a couple that are 10 inches away some 12. I plan on cutting the ones closest to inspect furthar.
My biggest objective as far as the lights go is to get the dimmers mounted in a box. Get a voltage meter and get some marks for that dimmer. Flying by the seat of my pants right now. Wife said that I can burn my stimulus on the grow room. So ill pay the saving act back for the light and pick up the last bits.

Sadly my vpd is off. Im running 75 degrees in the tent but my humidity is at 60. 6 inch fan running on medium speed. I have turned that down to see if i can get the temps up to 80. if that dont work, then it looks like im either dehumidifying, running a heater, increaseing my fan and going back to an active intake...

Youre not wrong. I just thought they would be warmer then they are. If I have to add more wattage to this grow for enviroment I'm going to grumble. I need to get this sorted. Right now my priorety is keeping my humidity down below 63. Im maintaining that right now, but im still cool in there.

The fun of dialing in environment. Need suggestions. Passive intake, 400cfm exhaust, Temp 72F 66%RH. VPD .7 3 weeks left of flower.
exhaust fan on low: 75/71
exhaust fan on med: 72/66
exhaust fan on high: 70/65

I feel ya, I'd love to get a PAR meter but the nice ones are too pricey to buy in order to get one set of lights dialed in. I feel like you might get some toasted tips from that distance but IDK maybe something in my set up predisposed my plants to that issue and it sounds like you've had your plants on a nice training regime for this debut haha

Do you have your driver in the tent? Hanging them away from the outlet fan should boost the temps a bit, might get you a little closer to where you want to be.

Putting the driver inside your tent could get you to the VPD you want but yeah I hear ya 60% is sketch so late in flower...if this is just a seasonal issue IDK I might try to wait it out but dehumidifiers would obv. be the best option and hey if the wife says let that stimmy check splash, then F*&^% it LOL

Yeah I ran the situation by her and she said that with where we live we can go from 30% humidity to 99%humidity. She told me to get a dehumidifer. And the research mode begins. I have the exhaust fan on high and the canopy fan going. So as long as the humidity doesnt get ove 65 it should be find. I just dont like riding that close to the mold line. I might pull the 6 inch off and Pop the 8 inch in move air through there like a hurricane LOL.

holy shit an 8" fan would be like a hurricane haha...I realized I probably could have gotten by with a 4 inch fans instead of 6", but just like with the lights, happy to be slightly over powered than the alternative. Good luck with the environment, sounds like things are soon to be dialed in.

I just opened the door and sides up and let it breath a little. Its raining out so the humidity in my house is 66. This is going to make my hvac upgrade a little more pricey. I wanted to get out of my old active air inline fans and get into the acinfinity fans/controllers. We'll see how it come out. Might be time for some construction...

Just make sure you got good airflow. I flowered in 60ish range humidity before, but I had the air moving 24/7. Luckily it worked for me.

Ive already bailed on most of those. Most dont know what theyre talking about and im not interested in debating basic shit with simpletons.
I hear that loud and clear.

Keep me in mind when you feel like discussing ideas with someone who's actually grown a few crops.
