the question is, is if you vote against the bill you don't get to participate in the bill and it's fruitions. You're saying some states are opting out of receiving Covid relief, or that they voted against it, but it passed anyway?
Side note, I recently read about the "radical republicans" as a party that was against slavery back in the day. Had no idea.
Loli'm ashamed that the left raised the income limits (in a most sneaky fashion) for the $1400 Stimulus checks..two on the left who shall remain unnamed lied on the Senate floor (i watched live) when the right kept raising the question about why the income limits are so high..i listened to them; to the right.
make no mistake; the income limits were raised..math doesn't lie..but those Senators did and i'm sptiting mad.
now it's supposed to go back where it belongs $75K with phase out at $80k.
A couple earning $200k is not in need of the Stimulus. if you wish to cite child care, that excuse works to age 5..you don't even go to work anymore- you're sitting on Zoom and saving commute costs.
You could have more than 1 stimulus check. Here's how you may get 3 payments
The third stimulus check is just one of three ways you and your family could get direct payments from the government over the next year. Here's every way you benefit.www.cnet.com
I gotcha. We were talking about this at home the other night. I understand the desire to punish stupid behavior, but ultimately I wouldn't want to harm the people by having them miss out on something needed because of their idiot leaders. It's too vindictive and it reminds me of how they are with abortion, wanting to punish some people with such long lasting effects over what can amount to a simple mistake. I don't see anything positive coming from implementing such hardline rules, because life tends to be much more complex than that.the question is, is if you vote against the bill you don't get to participate in the bill and it's fruitions.
i'm tired of these fly in the ointment righteousness of themselves.
Manchin thinks he's a king maker but he'd be best to remind himself he is still a dem- if he wishes to change parties that's up to him.
admit who you are everyone else sees it but the person in question.
that dog don't hunt. we all know parties have changed names over the course of time. You're saying some states are opting out of receiving Covid relief, or that they voted against it, but it passed anyway?

that is kristin sinema how old is she? her state will censure her i imagine..you know..a fine.Meanwhile, Democrats are doing end-zone dances as they reject $15 hour. This won't end well for the citizens of the USA.View attachment 4848644
funny.Funny how they were all over the 3 trillion corporate bailout last year, since 85% of PPP loans went to the 1%, and dozens of Trump's closest allies all received PPP loans. Our grandkids will be paying off that massive corporate welfare scheme. This round isn't perfect but at least individuals will get more relief, schools will get much needed funding, and of course the increased funds for Obamacare subsidies, so that more Americans can actually afford health insurance, during...you know...A PANDEMIC. My Obamacare premiums skyrocketed under Trump, going up 30% last year alone. Hopefully they're able to add a public option at some point to give the monopolies that control the rural parts of US healthcare some much needed competition.
would it have not been too vindictive if the bill didn't pass due to majority the other way..then what?I gotcha. We were talking about this at home the other night. I understand the desire to punish stupid behavior, but ultimately I wouldn't want to harm the people by having them miss out on something needed because of their idiot leaders. do you know how quickly those from Arizona would be on Sinema's front lawn if they knew they weren't getting benefits because she voted it down?..she's just as bad a a Radical Republican. They should have made a provision where red states could opt out of the covid relief and see how many would, perhaps Texas? We don't like no big guberment!
do tell, Trumper.lots of fake news in here
Like I mentioned, I do understand the perspective.would it have not been too vindictive if the bill didn't pass due to majority the other way..then what?
time to stop this shit here and now while we can.
