Toys that made us!

Don't get me started on that. LOL. My last fast electric was a custom 44" carbon Zonda twin engine, 8 cell 300 amp per Leopard. Sold it before I scratched it. And a 1/4 scale full aluminum sprint wit CCW 37cc. Expensive toys. GRRR.
I haven’t used the boat since I watched it’s rooster tail take off into the sunset, last seen heading north at 45mph lol. Recovered it a day later on a remote shoreline. Nothing like watching $1300 boat off into the sunset. I def scratched it... have a prather lap cat 2, sold the k&b outboard though, thing was too wild too enjoy, I had to run away from it multiple times.

My old PC is fried. If I ever find an easy way to retrieve data from a burnt HDD. //////Here are stock photos of the Zonda I gutted and made insane. Scared me. And my suggested intro to fast electric. A prop upgrade and 3 cell Lipo's. Stupid stable. And faster than they should be. LOL. rc-genesis-racing-boat-electric_1_7a0215ecf278c446bc4d7b27e723182a.jpgartr-all-carbon-super-fast-twin-motor_1_d35e3d80ca8c125e6671eaf23acf1898.jpg

Sexy boat, lipo gets crazy fast. If I ever get time and free cash, I’m going to build a cat and use my zen26 and stinger out of the deep v.

I still surf the web looking for my girl on video. Was among the baddest for the year and hull. Either crashed or still a wall hanger. The buyer was afraid when I had him hold it back in it's cradle as I spun the motors up for demonstration. 2.5" tri blade props were ducted fans in air. They go like hell in powder snow as well.

I need to try to sleep. TY for the chat. Glad I'm not the only toy obsessed fool. Maybe I'll post the massive Beanie Baby hoard taking up too much space. Mother and wife's vane pursuit. Both over it. But a small toy store here if we could play with them.

Run a needle through the round caps. put match heads at the end and wrap with tape. Masking tape works as a delayed fuse...
One of our very favorite things to do was hacksaw off the end of co2 cartridges and fill with match heads, the cardboard type.
Wedging a strip of duct tape in with the last few match heads for the fuse.
Was a great mini missile, unless you packed em too tight. Then they blew up.

we made a bazooka looking cannon. A pipe through a piece of plywood for behind your head.

them missiles will fuck up cinder block walls from around a couple hundred feet away. :-)

I kept my original round tube of Lincoln Logs around for decades, slowly losing pieces as the years go by. If ever a young lady came over with kids, I would pull this out and they (kids) would envariably sit down and play with it. Many of the moms had never heard/seen of them. Choking hazards I guess. Had Tonka trucks too.

edit: and TinkerToys, what 5-8 year old kid couldn't be fascinated with those?
Besides board games, it was lincoln logs, it was legos, pick up sticks and slinkys in our house at a young age. Them slinky's didn’t last for shit.
Who else had these? I want to buy the whole setup again, sled and all, shits expensive now. Anyone do vintage RC stuff? Marui??
