what would you guess happened? seemingly happened overnight. That doesn’t appear to be insects.
oh damn maybe. Should I bother duct taping the damaged flesh or is it already too late and just see if it heals by itself?Looks like it’s been bent down and damaged. Keep a close eye on it. Main concern is fungus etc. If just physical damage it will be okay.

Humidity? Temp? How high on the plant? Is it effecting older lower leaves? Is it effecting the base of the stem?I've had some grasshoppers eating my leaves but now I think they might have gone after the stem?
Or is it a whole different issue entirely? help haha.
Humidity and temps were both kinda high yesterday so that probably didnt help, damage is about midway and the node attached to the damaged area had 2 leaves turn yellow and the base of the stem is healthy and strong. but I think hotrod is right about the bend damage. Winds were out of control the other day and I thought I checked the plant over well enough but must have missed it till nowHumidity? Temp? How high on the plant? Is it effecting older lower leaves? If it is fungal what should I do?Got it...I only asked because the first thing that popped into my head when I looked at the pic was fungus. Then harley saw that was possible as well. If you are sure it was just a bend...all good.
Appears to be node damage and a bacterial infention. Looks to be dying off. Good call. If it does not spread it is fine. I would suggest an H2O2 spritz to add a pad. Or light iso wiping with a Q tip. If not both on separate days.Looks like it’s been bent down and damaged. Keep a close eye on it. Main concern is fungus etc. If just physical damage it will be okay.
Funguses can be very tricky to identify. A lot of them cannot be cured. But don't worry about that unless it gets worse. If it is fungal what should I do?
This is probably the best you can do. Hydrogen peroxide won’t hurt at all. Use the household strength stuff.Appears to be node damage and a bacterial infention. Looks to be dying off. Good call. You can just dust the spot with cinnamon on a q tip as well. Just the area in question. It will desiccate the plant cells. But kill the invaders by lack of fluid. Leaves a scar.I took this photo 11 hours ago, in another hour ill be able to check on it again and take another photo to see if its getting worse. I have a strong feeling its bend damage that I guess might also be infected? I don't think I have any h202 or iso around either so that sucks haha.
oh thats pretty handy, I should have cinnamon haha. cheers for the tips! You can just dust the spot with cinnamon on a q tip as well. Just the area in question. It will desiccate the plant cells. But kill the invaders by lack of fluid. Leaves a scar.
