They're not the cheapest on the block, but they are arguably one of the best – the extra yie
I'm not sure, but I do know he vegs separately, so the flowering tent is always full. As soon as one run is finished, plants go in and start flowering for the next run. I'm guessing he vegs for 4-5 weeks.

A most important question regarding yield and you dont know.
I'm not sure what the question is, but the answer is "42".

Anyone who has read The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy will know what I mean ;)

I know the answer to that question: you're a noob.

If you had experience you'd know that veg time means almost nothing. As @bri77 said, it not only depends on how many plants you grow for any given area, it depends on the variety: how long you flower for, how far it stretches, how long the transition phase lasts etc. And even after all that, extra veg time makes bugger all difference after you have reached the optimum plant size for your light coverage and area. If you veg any longer, you will fill the top canopy and then the lower canopy will die off because it doesn't get enough light. If you SOG, you don't need to veg at all – likewise if you are growing extreme sativas from seed or even clone (which reduces flowering times).

What GLA said is pretty close to the mark: the grower in question flowers for 7-8 weeks, which means he takes 2 weeks to clone and another 5 weeks or so to veg before the next cycle. If the plants get too big in that time, he crops them to the right size. So there is really no incentive to veg fast, as he has plenty of time to grow between flowering cycles. Veg time might make a difference to those who veg and flower in the same area (ie; noobs), but most experienced growers have separate veg and flowering chambers. With apologies to those who actually do veg and flower in the same area – each to his own. I'm not German or American, so I have a sense of humour (reference: bernie344's signature). Now I'll bugger off before I dig myself an even deeper hole and insult everyone who doesn't have a sense of humour. Or who simply doesn't like seafood (WTF is wrong with you?!?)

Id say that time in flower has more to do with yield than veg time, our 10 weekers yield more than 8 weekers.

I just harvested my first plant from under the new lights. It was abused as its a new room, first time in coco and ive been dialing everything in.

Bridal cake autoflower. Lights ran at less than half power at 50cm above canopy. LST'd, and took up a little less than 2 cubic feet. 4gal handwatered coco every second day. Often over and under fed. Substrate frequently dried out. Some of the stems died off before harvest. 202g dry and trimmed.

No complaints here and cant wait for the first full run.

I harvested last grow and got 753 grams dry from 6 x Autos( Heavy Weight Seeds Fruit Punch)under the older model 450 watts x 2 long series kits ( alittle lite on weight but learning new things with these boards) - have just started 9 x Candy Caramelo Autos ( approx 6 weeks left)also in 3 weeks will be starting 2 x Hairy Lemon and 2 x Baked Alaska photos ( had good yields under HlG 550r x 5sold them all so will be interested to see what happens under the GLA Boards) I would recommend this company as they go the extra mile to help , excellent products and service all round - and not as expensive as some think to buy and import, maybe just ask the question..

**** I suggest if going the 450 watt drivers place them out side of the room/tent or mount at the bottom of room as they will and do product abit of heat , not an issue if using AC, just my view , I also run my drivers at 380 - 390 watts each, found 430 watts to much heat for my rooms and the way I grow ...

Any chance of having a US distributor for your products in the future? Shipping kills any perceived deals
Hi mate, you make a very valid point but we're in that twilight zone at the moment where we are just big enough to supply a modest demand for LED kits, but not big enough to start exporting on a larger scale. Even with a US distributor, we need to be able to make enough boards at a price that is competitive, but also includes enough margin for the distrubutor and/or retailer. What I am saying is, if and when we get bigger, we'll be able to make things cheaper and then we can sell more kits, which will bring the price down further and on and on it goes. We're just a small company and don't have the resources right now. But if you are interested in our products, drop me a line and I'll see what we can do.

Plants three weeks from transplant now. Been under the og highlights and aracadia 6% uvb for full veg and looking healthy to me. Flipping to flower after I topdress the soil and hope to keep them healthy throughout. No training so far, just clipped a few fan leaves and been water only.

Pic from Feb 26th after transplant, then March 10th (so one week ago) and then from today.

Also, any news on when the new teknik blue buddies are gonna be available?

Looking healthy mate. Sorry, no ETA on the blue Buddies yet. I know Teknik has been trialling LEDs for them and has a design ready, but not sure when they go into production. I will ask and report back later.

Nice, hope everything works out well for him as he finishes everything up on these. Would love to try using those instead of the uvb tube somewhere down the road. That said really happy with the og boards and arcadia combo so far though. Flipped to flower on the 18th and have one confirmed female as of now, plant on the right is the female.
