A bit of amber trichomes but she's still pushing out white pistils. I tend to think that I should Harvest right now or in a couple days because the sugar leaves are turning a bit brown and those will be difficult to trim. Ready or wait?

@spliffendz Maybe the white pistils kept coming because the Co2, temp and nutrients were remaining high elevated like in the heart of flower....

@lusidghost @Detroitwill @Lucky Luke

....but alas, I've decided to take it down to avoid bud rot or browning on the main cola sugar leaves.

It's so strange that this wedding cake pheno took 11 weeks but my other wedding cake pheno took only 7!?

Grown from seeds. The quicker one was in a smaller pot 5gallons and had a different super soil. The slower one in a bigger pot 8.5 gallons, got muuuuuch fatter and didnt want to stop growing. Maybe that super soil proved better.

Does it make sense somehow???? Does the pot size really make that much of a difference on the maturity time or might that be attributed to the genetics or different soil chemistry more?

I can confirm not rotting inside YET but as advised here, that is a real risk and on the edge. So I harvested today. Shes hanging in my closer at 70 degrees F.

In my short experience brown sugar leaves = buds are rotting inside. I'm not religious, but I pray it's not your case man. Hope you get a good harvest.

Looking at the old growth its had issues for a long time.

Yes, Pheons can very widely. Pheno runs are worth it once you nail cloning. Some Breeders have also breed better for longer so great/ wanted traits are there more often.

The no media hydro guys will argue that pot size doesnt matter but in general yes pot size matters. More roots more fruits.

Yes, terroir makes a big difference. Huge in the wine game. Kevin Jodry mentions it allot. Check him out on you tube and everything he is in. His voice may annoy you but he is articulate and knowledgeable in all aspects of growing.

I've watched tons of this dude's videos. While he knows what he's talking about, he also wears me out pretty quickly. People in the cannabis industry who talk about the cannabis industry wear me out. It breaks my heart when I hear big business jargon applied to my beloved outlaw plant. It was like when rappers stopped bragging about their skills and started bragging about "moving units." I'm a firm believer of keeping it boutique.
