Soil I have one tent with a plant in flower wanted to know if I could veg in a closet couple hours with those lightsVegging what? In coco by any chance?
It’s supposed to be a 60w equivalent not sure if it’s accurateYou won't be able to veg even one plant with those lights.......they're only 8 watts each.
Equivalent means nothing........they're only 8w bulbs. It’s supposed to be a 60w equivalent not sure if it’s accurate
Thanks. Any idea how much I should add?You can use any light to vegg for a few hrs to keep them in veg state I would add more lights
As much as your budget can afford. You get what you put in.Thanks. Any idea how much I should add?
I have a 1000w Mars hydro light in a 2x2 tent flowering currently and would like to continue to veg another plant I have to bring outside when temp warm and sunlight is longer I don’t have space for another tent or I would have bought one looking for a way to just continue veg for a couple hours will the lights are off without stretching or messing up the plant to much it looks healthy....also I only planned to grow one plant but this one sprouted in the same pot not sure how pulled out and replantedBuy adjustable ballast set at 200w for veg and 400 to 600 for flower they love the 200w in veg they grow fast and nice I use 2 200w hps for veg and they always grow nice and fast and strong use soil and keep ur nutrients down lots of light keep the temp between 24 29 but make sure u have good air coming in and u will yield big every time
If I pull the plant out the tent during the day will that continue veg? It won’t but under direct sunlight but some shaded light because of the direction of the windowYou can use any light to vegg for a few hrs to keep them in veg state I would add more lights
Would this work?It's best to use 3 x 15w Philip's bulbs
One for each plant ( only 45 Watts but give you great results)
I would top the plants and hang the bulb in the middle 2" above the plants ( should cover 6" x 6")
DIY light
That will work really well, should beable to cut the plastic caps off with a hack saw (shown in the video) gives the plants more light.Would this work?
Thanks will try this weekendDIY lights

I would hang the bulbs on chain so you can adjust the height, each bulb should cover a 6"x 6" canopy, I would also top the plants in early veg, as the lights best for short bushy plants.
Having a quick look online, looks like the 3 lights cost close to $1000Mars hydro ts series are a great bang for the buck for a veg light. Ive got two ts1000w and a sp3000 on the way
