I’m gonna get nearly 2lbs off of this plant. I’m not trying to argue about lights. I’m only showing what I have gotten from what I have. And to be honest I think the pics speak for them selves. 3 Mars Tsl 2000’s. And just days away from harvest (:
I cut her down today. she filled my dry space.... so we will see soon what she actually did. I think I may have put my foot in me mouth a Lil bit. But we will see

Very similar indeed. But hopefully there’s a reason it’s selling like that
I think it is because normally the assembled light fixture is $849 so the kit would be cheaper. Right now they have a big sale going on so the lights are $699. I really don’t see any difference between the kit and the preassembled light except the price. They both look to have the same 4 quantum boards, drivers and all other components the same. I would maybe give them a call ASAP and figure it out. It really would not make much sense to buy the kit for more money when you could buy the same light already assembled and also save money.

I'm pretty sure the warranty is shorter on the kits. They also tend to list the wattage as higher on the finished lights but I don't know if that is marketing or what.

And as earlier pointed out you can just buy the boards and heat sinks and build the rest yourself with little effort and save yourself maybe another 15% ish.

Not in this case. He paid more money for the kit because the light is on sale right now

$699 600 watt Rspec fixture
$749 600 watt Rspec DIY kit

My bad I should have clarified that I was commenting on the normal pricing levels though I think it's entirely possible that the light could have been assembled coming in for even a bit less than $699 if drivers and cords etc were bought a la carte.

I could be wrong.

DE. Honestly, I think I could just keep running the CMH at night, but I'd like to try an LED anyway for comparison. The temps are fine in there even when my room is 80 deg, so it should be fine this summer. I'm just torn between a light with 480 watts of lm301b + meanwell drivers vs this one which is 250ish watts more but slightly less efficient diodes and unknown driver...but also 3 year warranty including paid shipping. This light has a lot going for it.
I bought one we will see...

"How many are in there?"

You are looking at 12 plants in the picture, and you don't see another 12 on the other side under another Gavita.........

Yeah my bad on the not paying enough attention. But none the less, do you guys think this will be efficient enough for my 5x5?
