when to harvest with no microscope

i was wondering what a good sign would be as to when i should harvest considering i do not have nor do i have the money for a powerful magnifying glass...and yes ive shopped around but cannot find one for a good price and do not want to spend extra money...most of the hairs are red....what should i do?

post a pic and wait for one of the real experienced guys to tell you. fdd2blk and a few other can give you a good idea just looking at a picture of the bud as close and clear as you can get it.

wait till 80% of all the hairs on the plant are red then harvest.

12 dollars for a 60-100x magnifying glass at radioshack. You cant afford that?

well for some reason in alaska where i am they charge out the fucking asshole for them...like in upwards of 50 to 60 bucks...and i can afford it...but ive spent already a g on this setup.... but if i dont absolutley have to i dont want to
