Self diagnosed with Short Sleep Syndrome (SSS). I do not feel sleep deprived sometimes with only one hour of sleep. Info on Shift Work Sleep Order (SWSD) helped me to understand circadian rhythm. People who are working during normal sleep hours can throw off their natural rhythm of sleepiness (circadian rhythm). One lifestyle change that did help me to get more hours of sleep was to fast during night time hours.
