for sure, appreciate the response. I had that in mind, as a good 2 days did make it to 88 at the soil, and I couldn’t cool it off till after 6pm or so, but I didn’t think it would have that ever lasting affect. I’m able to keep it around 70-79 F max, now, with 40-60 rh. I hope they’ll pull through decently.Heat stress deluxe.
That panda stuff I’m seeing a lot, I should’ve went with white, but I figured I’d slap some Mylar on the walls with glue, and keep er moving. I didn’t know it would hold so much heat even with the amount of ventilation I have going on. Next up, ac unit. lolYour reflective surface is not your friend regarding heat. You just topped it so it slowed it some.
I haven’t had any other problems until after those hot days. I’ve been running tap water @ 300ppm at 6.8. And all of a sudden the blue dream was kinda looking funny, then the blueberry started acting up about a day later. Are there any other issues that cause the serrated edges to stand up, or is that solely from heat stress?
It's always an indication to back the lights off, and I think that's 100% solution in your case. I'm wondering if there's any other causes, just so I know. I feel like I'm at the point in my growth where the next level is to be able to identify the cause of all problems. Up until now I was focused on consistency, but that's basically just following instructions. If I had a health issue I would flush and lower the intensity of everything and gradually ramp it back up. It typically works, but I want to understand what's going on instead of just generically solving the problem.I haven’t had any other problems until after those hot days. I gotcha ya, I’m at 25inches with Mars hydro ts1000 and viparspectra p1000 both at 75 watts. So that’s what gets me, that should be okay. Maybe I should back off more, yeah this is like my 4th grow, at least consecutively, but I’ve been watering 2-3cups every 2-3days. And just started adding a little cal mag, and flora bloom. But I’ve done that in the past with amazing results. I’ve been raising the lights and reading the plants as they’ve grown, temps at 70-80 rh at 40-60 and trying to keep em happy, but this threw me off guard, I turned down my fan, cause I’ve grown outdoors in 90 degree and never had a problem. It got to 88 for 2 days in a row, so that’s when I raised from 18 at 50% to 26. And the second day the edges looked raised, and leaves sagging a little. Then I got the temps under control this last 6 days and they were fine until the spots showed up. I topped last Saturday or Sunday, then again last night, but they looked okay yesterday. So I went ahead and chopped. I’m not sure what I’m missing out, just let me know, what your wondering I gotchu, I’m trying, but still catching on, even tho I’ve researched for days about everything, before trying here. I also think it could be stress from topping and to much fan, mixed with the lights. It’s all so difficult to recreate Mother Nature in a closet. Lol I’m probably just being dumb and missing the obvious or something. It's always an indication to back the lights off, and I think that's 100% solution in your case. yeah I believe you may be right lol I’ve been trying not to over water in potting soil. I’ve used top soil for a lot of my grows. First time using perlite and pro-mixCan't argue with hrh he knows his shit...but, I think she may be a bit underwatered. Just MHO.
I haven't seen Hotrod in here for a long time. I hope he's doing okay.Your reflective surface is not your friend regarding heat. You just topped it so it slowed it some.
