12v fans???? someone help

okay well i just ripped apart an old computer and have 2 vans now. both say 12v but i have a plug with 9v dc annd before i rip that apart i want to know if they will run on that ( 1 to 1 fan) ive heard peple using 4v dc plugs and stuff but i wasnt sure whether they wree using weaker fans??? i dont mind if my speed is reduced its all good just want to know whether it will work..

yeh just did it now thanks guys i got 2 fans out of one computer! its an old one that doesnt even work they both are moving air and stuff great stuff! one thing do in my box do i have more intake or outake as ones smaller than the other. If im correct more intake as the plants want co2 yeh?
but u guys are the right guys to ask cheers

I'd put the stronger one as an outake. (Ventilation is not my expertise)
