So my buddy dropped some coco W/Biochr plants in 7-10 gal plastics. Everything is fine for the most part, we’re splitting this 50/50 but he doesn’t take suggestions well.
We’re using Lotus nutes, withsome coconut/aloe and Cal mag every!watering I think. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to be he never gets runoff, I figure you should some like once a week.

AverageTemp - about 75
Average RH -55%

On two plants it looked like damage was only where the LEDs would be the strongest. One plant has perfect middle but tops are weird. Any help guys?

Those plants need help. How often are you feeding and at what PPMs/PH? You need to start feeding them to runoff, plenty of runoff. I'd do a slurry test to see what the EC and PH is after all this time of not watering to runoff, and then go from there. Also, what light do you have them under/distance? Biochar isn't a great thing to add to a coco grow with mineral salts-it can really throw off the PH of the media depending on how much you added, the specific product, etc. What percentage of the media is Biochar?

So I have zero experience in any soilless cannabis growing, I just started a notill grow. I don’t know if he just bought distilled water before but I asked if I should get readings or runoff snd he said no.

They’re under Crecer PanthrX II and there’s two of them, he had them pretty close but I moved them to like 19 inches away. I don’t know how much biochar but it’s not alot

There is nothing perfect about any of those plants and they are going to get much worse. You can't treat coco like soil and let it dry out.

Everything about the grow is wrong.

Any suggestions on what I should do to remedy the situation? I can throw some money at it to make it work.

Any good coir threads on here? To be fair the majority don’t look all that bad. Anything you can tell by how the plants look?

Just start watering the plants until runoff with any decent nutrient. Start with 1/2 strength and work up from there as you see how the plants respond.
