Holy Smokes! That is super exciting!Hi Willie
I don't get that either. It hasn't changed much in the past couple weeks, just got more red and yellow leaves. I've found a few mature seeds sticking out of the buds on the stretchy plant. I knew it hermied, there's just no way to find them all in a scrog. oh well, not the end of the world.
I have big plans but it's going to take some time to achieve. I've applied for my medical permit to allow me grow 50 plants. Until that's approved I'm stuck with a maximum of four plants.
Once approved I'm going to run 12 regular plants and flower them quickly looking for a good female that will work well in a SOG grow. I figure I have enough room and lighting to run up to 24 plants in a SOG. I purchased a blumat 12 plant irrigation system that I'll expand once I've been approved.
I don't want to do scrog again. It's a great way to utilize all your space, but it's also a colossal pain in the ass to manage and being bent over like that for long periods of time hurts my back. My hope is to get to a point where it's mostly hands off other than topping up a reservoir.
I don't know anything about the rules and regs up North.
Will this allow you to grow for medical patients? If so, are you allowed to sell or gift to them?
Fill me in, I know squat about what you are entering into...
The SOG seems to be a preferred method for fast turn around when wanting to produce as much product as quickly as possible.
Find a 'Mother' of choice, and clone the Holy Moses out of her, after a couple of rounds it seems like 'they' have it down to a science, really know the plants and their needs. I've read that they keep their plant count up and their veg time down, turn over seems to be the name of the game.
I really hope it works out for you. It would be something that I think I would enjoy, but I know that it will never happen. I'm limited to a maximum plant count of 5. (clones or seedlings don't count until they are 5 inches tall)
Please keep me informed as this moves forward.
Cheers,
WillieP
