The strain is Critical Orange Punch. It’s supposed to take 75 days from seed to harvest and it’s currently on the 74th day from when it sprouted however, I’ve noticed new pistles still forming on the buds. There are quite a few white pistles left and the buds seem to be growing still. I suspect at some point before I started flushing there was a lockout, could that of stunted progression? I have about a week left till the flush is complete. I also can’t check the pistles as I don’t have a microscope. Tell me what you think.

If you need to ask, the answer is wait longer 99% of the time. Until you can invest a few bucks in a loupe or magnifier, its just a wild guess.
You need to look specifically at the trichomes to determine ripeness. Plenty of info abounds regarding trichome "ripeness". The general consensus is wait until they're cloudy and some have started to amber. Keep in mind, you're interested in the trichomes on the calyx's, not the sugar leaves.

Everything that the plant needs to finish it already has in its leaves and system. Everything left in the roots could ruin the smoke. That’s what flushing is forLooks like it's close, another week wouldn't hurt.

you're right, flushing it over the next week will be plenty of time for it to finish up if it isn't already. definitely invest in a scope that magnifies 30x and up. can pick them up cheap on amazon for 20-30 bucks.

Flushing is for salt build up and toilets
the first 45 seconds of that video proves exactly why you are meant to flush the plant, not the other way round.
Also dudes, how about doing the research for yourself, smoke a flushed and unflushed plant and marvel at the difference.

Your plant doesn’t look bad regardless if you flushed or not.. but you’ll never know if your plant wanted to bulk up more before ripening up. Keep her going another week like you said and she should be done. Update the thread with new pics if anything changes.
