Hi guys, its 2 days since i fed them tea.
Im currently brewing another one to make sure i give these girls what they need.
I checked soil ph and its showing at 6.2 / 6.5 on reader so not sure why they look so sick.
The buds still seem to be growing but the leaves seem to be yellowing rapidly and i still have 4 weeks of flower left. Ive turned the light up from 75% to 100% for the last 4 weeks. I also raised them approx 60cm above canopy just incase im burning the leaves because the reviews ive read regarding my light are suggesting that you should hang the lights higher than what the manufacturer recommends, just to be safe.

Does it seem to be progressing in your opinion?

The yellowing seems to be spreading but the new growth appears to be green so hard to tell.
if i was a week or so away from harvest i wouldnt be panicking as much as its normal for leaves to yellow as the buds suck up all the nutrients left in leaves. Maybe its a case where they’re starving and need more than im giving them but i can see potential magnesium def or P def as stems are starting to rapidly purple.

Microbes! So the stems are progressively purpling? You should at least see no worsening after the tea.

It will take a couple weeks at least to begin to see improvement once your mix falls off like that; you have been giving them lots of NPK. It takes time for whatever you add to become available and be absorbed. In living soil you need to give what is needed long before it actually is. If you see things going south it is almost already too late. Lol
Are teas made with good ewc as effective as a compost tea?
The gullets of earthworms contain all of the microbes needed to decompose organic matter. I honestly never used anything else other than ewc but that’s because I have a worm factory 360. Having access to very high quality vermicompost free for life is a huge benefit.

Ok cool. I'd like to start a bin, but I live in a townhouse, with an hoa and nosey neighbors, that would wonder why I'm keeping worms in a bin next to the building. Lol....I use build a soils ewc. Seems to be pretty good but a lil pricier than free. Lol

It's usually about 2 weeks when I start noticing a difference from what I added.

another option is, if you're doing "no till" and you have big enough pots, you can seed them with worms, then they just munch on your mulch and make castings right there in your soil! I love worms, I'm thinking about getting some African nightcrawlers just for the bragging rights lol

I'm not no till yet. I'm gonna try it in an earth box, which should be arriving in the next week. Right now I have some moms in 3 gal smart pots. Eventually I plan on getting a bed, but that's still a long way off.

Edit: I might try a few worms in the earth box though.

I was hoping to find some in mine, but sadly I haven't noticed any yet, but then again I'm not exactly sure what they look like. Lol
