That’s not foxtailing. It’s just nowhere close to ready.Looks like how my autoflower (first-time) Banana Kush is growing. The word “larfy” came to mind (is this what that means?- heard the term here first).
I thought foxtailing was when it grew like a “head” of wheat, with calyxes doing sort-of a overlapping upward climb but just in pairs. Must be something else- had that happen to a few flowers last year.
Here’s what my autos looks like, fresh after finally trimming. The second pic, with the hairy mass of bud is particularly “foxtailed”.

Ah man that sucks. Sorry for your loss.Yes nitrogen excess will cause foxtailing.
This entire plant was one giant foxtail mess. I didn't even want to bother finishing it and it was binned shortly after this. It was constantly borderline nitrogen toxic even on a low feed. I chalked up this loss to shitty auto genetics.

Yeah i did this when i realised i over fed them for a week instead of reducing the feed according to my chart. Next time round im going to try half the dose stated on the chart or maybe two thirds. Also i started boost as soon as i flipped to 12/12 think im gonna wait a few weeks into flower before boosting.Too many cheeseburgers. Lower her feed.
Thank you but no big deal. I could have finished it and processed that mess into something else like edibles. No room in the freezer have plenty to already go through.Ah man that sucks. Sorry for your loss.
Good to hearThank you but no big deal. I could have finished it and processed that mess into something else like edibles. No room in the freezer have plenty to already go through.
That could make sense for my autos, but I’ll do a test today. I read a few places autos need heavier feeding, and I do have them in smallish pots with a lot of coco, so I have to feed them more often. This is the product of too much nitrogen in flower.
Nitrogen toxicity causes retardation of flowers.
Hopped her dried her weighed her just for an idea of what thye produced. That could make sense for my autos, but I’ll do a test today. I read a few places autos need heavier feeding, and I do have them in smallish pots with a lot of coco, so I have to feed them more often.
Nice any picsHopped her dried her weighed her just for an idea of what thye produced.
Pulled just under 16 oz off 2 plants
