Par is photosynthetically active radiation ( meaning light falls in a useable spectrum for plants), PPFD photosynthetic photon flux density. Sometimes I use them interchangeably. I believe the correct unit is umol.

Par and ppfd apply to any light source, not just led.

That's a dumb thing to say. I think a reasonable person would understand there is a limit to everything and I was not telling anybody to add more light than the plant can handle.

But a lot of the alibaba sellers spout the figure of 2g/w yield on "LED" lights as if the sheer fact it's LED creates that yield. This same chick later says their lights are as good or better than fluence LoL.
