Hlg 260??

Hello I was just wondering do you guys think a HLG 260 is too much light for a 2x2 x4 tent. Currently running the spider farm SF 1000 was thinking of future upgrades

Yep, 23"x8" with dimer switch my tent is actually 27x27x62 so I actually have 5'. I wasn't sure if it is plasible to just use the dimmer to not cook my plant. I will probably get a bigger tent later.

I dont have personal experience with that light or the tent but I would imagine with a dimmer you should be ok. Hell, by running it low you would also lengthen the life of the light.

Ya that's really what I was thinking, that and the higher ppf! Also I want to be able to move up in grow space later down the road with a quality light to do so!

Yeah absolutely! I've noticed on my lights I actually have to turn them down while in veg because it ends up being too much actually. Hlg is a quality product so it should not only last but perform well. Good luck and have fun.
