How do you measure run off mate? I’m going to do that now to see if that shows what is possibly wrong? Is it a case of flooding the pot and testing what comes out the bottom?Lol actually it probably wouldnt, not sure what I was thinking there. I still recommend keeping the coco saturated at all times and always feeding at least a light strength feed. When I used to feed once a day the pot would get light and the ph would swing like crazy, measuring runoff will probably tell you whats wrong.
Yeah I use 3 gallon pots that sit in their own trays and pour 1/2 gallon through. I use one of those plastic nutrient syringes to pull out 30 or 40 ml of the runoff and put that in a cup and test the ph and ppm. Coco can get some crazy ph drift if its not kept wet, its not always a problem but its happened to me when I fed less than 2x a day.How do you measure run off mate? Ok great, and I use water that has been adjusted to the correct ph?Yeah I use 3 gallon pots that sit in their own trays and pour 1/2 gallon through. Hi mate, I’ve just done what you have said and the average run off is around 900ppm. That is with plain ph’d water.Yeah I would add some nutrients too
PH was coming out at 6.7-6.9. Is this high for run off?I think 900 is fine. Anywhere between like 700-1500 should be fine in my opinion. If the ph on the runoff is ok then I have no clue. Good luck dude
When coco dries it is very salty due to being high in potassium. You get crisper nute burned plants when let coco dry out. Here is a good guide to water and feed. It's a bit much to read but you will be glad you did!Hi mate, why would the ppm be very high if they have had no bytes since Tuesday?
