What about stopping at the bubble? I don't have a press.
Great question! Thats an awesome option. The only problem is you cant get all the water out so you have to store it in the fridge or freezer but its soooo good. The yield when you factor in dry vs wet weight seems to be much higher. And the bubble is insanity.
hereare some pics of the bubble and the rosin.

So, what kind of pressure are we talking about? And was that a teabag?
5 ton press although you only need a fraction of that for this method. It squeezes out so easily. Temp is 175. And no its a 25 micron press club brand bag. Its double bagged also

Fresh frozen as opposed to dry bubble hash you say? What kind of yields roughly? looks awesome@
So the average yield for dry trim is about 10%. At best. Fresh frozen yields on average about 5-7%. BUT THIS DOESNT ACCOUNT FOR WATER WEIGHT. 5% of 150 grams of fresh frozen would yield 7.5 grams of bubble. But if you dried that trim instead of using it fresh the wieght of the trim would be about 40 grams( cannabis loses about 70% water weight). That means that if you yielded 10% you would only get 4-5 grams of bubble. So when accounting for water weight i think fresh frozen yields are about 30-50% higher.

I got a 10 ton house Jack, what kind of frame? Knew this fucker would come in handy.
You could make that work with an H frame i think but most frames come with jacks. An a frame with plates and a jack will run you about 80$. You could use an oven to heat the plates and a temp gun to temp them but i recommend spending another 100-150$ on PID electric heated plates. Best investment ever. If anyone needs help sourcing that stuff i can send links.

Now that i see there is some intrigue i will post my tek.
first, you want all mesh bubble bags. They arefar superior and cost the Same.
make sure your trim is frozen good. If there are buds in there, break them up while you are starting.Use a clean 5 gal bucket and mix in ice cold water and your trim. Only adda handful of ice. You only want to use the i e to make sureyour water is cold enough not to melt it. Seriously. No extra ice. The best place to do this is in a walk in cooler or outside in winter. So use a spatula to mix your trim and ice water for about 5 mins. I usually do about 3-4 runs with this on the trim. Use circular smooth motions. You want centrifugal force to rip the trichomes off.You dont want to break them off. I like a silicone spatula. After mixing, poor it into a bucket lined with a 220, 120 or 160, 73, and a 25 bag. If your plants were mature almost everything will be in the 73 bag but if not a lot will be in the 25 too. Now when you are collecting your bubble it will be waaaay sticker than any bubble you have ever handled so be careful. Spoon it directly onto double layered parchment paper. It will stick like wax to anything else you put it on. Now you will still have some water pooled with your hash so take your parchment covered in bubble and put it in the fridge, open to the air. This is where the pros would freezedry it but i find leaving it openin the fridge over night on several layers of parchment usually does it. By about 24 hours, enough water has been removed that you can press it. use parchment to roll it into a shape that will fit into your press bag (i do a tootsie roll shape) and put it into the freezer to harden. After its hard it is less sticky and can be quickly dropped into the open mouth of your press bag. Fold the end of the bag over and put it the opposite way into another bag. I recommend press club brand 25 micron press bags. Now if you dont have experience pressing rosin, practice with bud first. It is VERY difficult to press full melt bubble into rosin without getting a blowout. Use a temperature of 165-180 and add pressure a TINY bit at a time. The whole press should take several minutefor it to ooze out. You dont want to force it. I usually dont do a full pressure press on the first go. I fold the puck and repress. After you collect your rosin it will likely still have a tiny bit of water in it. If you want to preserve the most terps, flatten it out on parchment andput it open air in the fridge like with the bubble. Or you can warm cure it in a jar for a more buttery consistency.Either way thats how i make hash these days. Cheers

I am going to try live resin when I harvest next.
Just pressed some Citrl Flo l.a.r.f.
I am now a fan of 2x bottletech style of no more than 3 or 4 gs per puck.
No blowouts, great return.
And pretty damn tasty.
Due to the larfy bud and trim, higher than normal temps..220f.
I like the middle ground temps of 200 or 198f ...but I heard higher temps equates to higher yield, just slightly less quality.
I'm personal, so all good.

Looking good man! Bottle tek is great for flower. I havent tried it for bubble though. Maybe i will. 220 is a bit warm for me. I do like the temps closer to 200. Yield seems to be almost the same with much higher quality. Show us your results when you do the fresh frozen!
