Deficient? In what?

Hi guys

These different strains have been veging under a 300w LED and I moved them over to 1000w HPS and they have grown considerably in the past week to ten days

a day or two ago I noticed this discolouration, almost like a silvery gold on some of the big fan leaves

I’m running Growers ark nutrients at 1.4 ec with a ph of 6.4 - 6.7 in mega pot soil/dirt

watering every 3/4 days and the temps are 25c

should I be upping my feed or should I be just plain watering?

thanks in advance

Looks like a magnesium or potassium deficiency to me. But on the other side this could be nutrient burn if you've been running the nutes at full strength every watering (especially since this plant looks fairly young).

What is your medium?

I would water with plain water and 1 tsp of pure epsom salt at PH 6.2-6.5

im running the nutes at what it says on the feed chart. Last week was 3ml per litre and this week it’s 4ml which brings it out at 1.4ec... do you think that’s too high? It’s just soil/dirt from a grow shop made by megapot

Looks like you were sloppy with watering practices in the past but the new growth looks good
I'm thinking a bit too much nitrogen :joint:
this discolouration has only just happened in the last couple of days. It all looked fresh and healthy like the tops a few days ago.

do you think I should give them ph’d water and then a lower feeding?

It happened weeks ago and is just now manifesting in the discoloration
Could be ph but it looks like it is corrected, there is no fixing the previous damage

what did you do about it? Thanks for your help
If I remember good, they were under 68W LED (or something like that) in 60x60cm tent untill they got crowded, than went under 6x4ft T5s like 10days or so and than under 600W. I ran 24/7 for let say 5-6 weeks from seed and everthing was great untill HPS. Than 2 days under HPS and 24hr dark, when the light went on the damage was immediatelly visible on coco plants. One looked like potassium def and other like nute burn. Got kinda freaked, luckily one plant in mix said light burn. Damage appeared on biggest fan on top part of plant like 4-8 leaves on whole plant, lower branches and lower old fan leaves unaffected. I have lowered the EC in coco but next day changed the ratio so it went up again and in mix you can do shit. My light was highest possible from the beggining so not so much to do. Light schedule was changed to 12/12 and the damage just stopped where it was first day. Since I was almost sure thank to the plant in mix, that was caused by the light I just set the dehumidifer at light off little bit higher and let them be. If you are in Canna Terra pro PLUS, than it is definitely not defficiency caused by lack of nutrients, when it is not light, than you fucked up feeding. Coz from my experience, they ussually do not need any kind of feed but water untill flower, if you pot up correctly. And another thing is pH it is crucial for hydro and coco, but in this kind of mix you are golden @5,8-6,2 when feed, when you go plain you do not bother about pH unless you use high pH and EC crap tap water (which you should not use anyway). Once the plant is under the strong light you should adjust the feed accordingly, and you do not really need strong HPS 1000W for vegging 25cm tall plant. Good luck!
