Donald had better hope he doesn't end up in front of judge Emmett Sullivan, he would be fucked on sentencing and this guy won't fuck around during the trial either.

It's just one case and soon it'll be down to zero. As soon as he dies.

He's in a squeal deal, has been for awhile and is at the top of the oath keepers food chain. He will testify and inform on the others, but that's not why he is getting the deal, it's always for someone higher up, someone closer to Trump. I wonder if Roger Stone is nervous?

Oath Keepers Member Pleads Guilty and Will Cooperate in Inquiry - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

A member of the Oath Keepers pleads guilty and will cooperate with prosecutors in the Jan. 6 riot inquiry.
A member of the Oath Keepers militia who was charged in connection with the riot at the Capitol pleaded guilty on Friday and agreed to cooperate with the government — potentially against other members of the far-right group.

The guilty plea by the Oath Keeper, Jon Ryan Schaffer, 53, of Indiana, was the first to be entered publicly by any of the more than 400 people who have been charged so far in the Jan. 6 riot. News of the plea emerged last week after secret documents in Mr. Schaffer’s case were briefly unsealed by accident on a federal court database.

Mr. Schaffer’s cooperation with the government could prove instrumental in helping prosecutors pursue much broader conspiracy charges against 12 other members of the Oath Keepers who stand accused of the some of the most serious crimes in the sprawling investigation.

The Oath Keeper conspiracy case is one of two large cases in which prosecutors have charged rioters with hatching plans to commit violence at the Capitol as early as November. As part of the case, the authorities have said they are investigating Stewart Rhodes, the founder of the Oath Keepers, who was at the Capitol on Jan. 6 but did not appear to have entered the building.

The other large conspiracy case involves four leaders of the far-right nationalist group the Proud Boys who led a mob of about 100 members and supporters past police barricades at the Capitol.

Mr. Schaffer, who is also a guitarist and songwriter for the heavy-metal band Iced Earth, was initially charged on Jan. 16, in what amounted to a first wave of criminal complaints, and accused of carrying bear spray and engaging in “verbal altercations” with police officers at the Capitol. Photos from the riot show him wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt under a tactical vest and a baseball cap that read “Oath Keepers Lifetime Member.”

At a hearing in Federal District Court in Washington, Mr. Schaffer pleaded guilty to two charges: obstruction of an official proceeding and entering a restricted building with a dangerous weapon. Both are felonies and carry a combined total of up to 30 years in prison.

As part of Mr. Schaffer’s deal with the government, prosecutors have agreed to sponsor him for the Witness Protection Program. ;)

Capitol rioter could face jail time for ignoring court order mandating she wear a mask
U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth in a ruling Friday demanded an answer from Rachel Powell over her mesh mask, which he said “mocks” a requirement from the court’s chief judge, Beryl Howell, that was issued after Powell was released in February that “Defendant must wear a mask whenever she leaves her residence.”

“The court does not take the defendant’s willingness to flout the court’s order lightly,” Lamberth wrote.

Lamberth’s rebuke comes after a video surfaced showing Powell wearing what appeared to be a white mesh mask that does not follow federal guidance on proper face coverings.

Hold these fucks who lie to themselves and others accountable, I'd like to hear that explanation too, before sending her to jail until her sentencing.

They've been producing a lot of video ads lately. Now that they have their house in order and have reorganized they appear to have an influx of cash. I wonder if corporate America is backing them to put the heat on the GOP, "we can fuck you right back Mitch"! Run these ads in republican districts and vulnerable democratic ones to soften them up on voter's rights and to lay the psychological ground work for the coming election in 2022. They are more to excite the democratic base and shift independents IMHO than for the republicans, they are a write off. Trump owns them and can rip them off at will by blowing the dog whistle and the suckers will come running with their wallets open.

Long gone and reorganized with their ducks lined up again. Steve Schmitt resigned, but I figure he's got lot's of job offers now that he's a democrat, he'd be a good point man for corporate America on voting rights too. Jennifer Horn quit too, but I think the issues have been resolved, they are former republicans after all and perversion seems to be a thing with some of them!

Weaver was the creep. Schmidt saw it as the time to leave.

That Lincoln Project makes bank without much accountability. I'm uncomfortable with the lack of oversight. I agree with their ads and think they have done some good but I think the scheme has gone on to the point where it's just about the money for them. Time to shut it down.

I get what you’re saying, but while he might have changed parties, he’s still a neo-conservative. The change doesn’t involve a pledge of allegiance to liberal or progressive principles; he and people like him will drag the Democrats back to the right if they can get away with it. Frankly, I don’t trust any of them. At ALL.
