When to use Bud candy?!

Hello everyone I recently picked up a bottle of bud candy I grew once 3 years ago but only used BC 2 weeks before flushing not sure if I saw the benefits of it so my question is I have some autoflowers purple lemonade in the first week of flower when can I start added it to my feedings? And how much I’m growing in happy frog 10gallon smart pots

Its for feeding microbes and fungi and so if you didn't supplement them then all you will be doing feeding budcandy is feeding nasty pathogens and fungi as sugar molecules are far too big for a plant to uptake

I wouldn't use it at all. It made zero difference in my grows, although some people say it makes buds taste worse. Can't comment on that since I only vaporize.

When to use Bud Candy? Never. It's not needed and is a waste of money. Any base nutrient already has magnesium and nitrogen. If you want to add magnesium just add some magnesium sulfate/epsom salts for a fraction of the price of that Bud Candy nonsense.

Bud Candy is magnesium nitrate. You must be thinking of one of AN's other overpriced and unnecessary products. It's hard to keep up with all the junk out there.

I have a bottle of this stuff that a buddy gave me and it either does absolutely nothing or it fucks with your plants during the last few weeks of their flowering. I won't use this garbage anymore and neither should you imo.

It appears that they have more than one version of Bud Candy. They also have unlisted ingredients in it. Which is why it's under a Stop Sale order in Oregon. Looks like they might have tried to change the name to avoid the Stop Sale orders. Oregon doesn't screw around with these nutrient companies trying to play games.

They basically do. I've mixed stock solutions before and it doesn't take much of whatever MKP, potassium sulfate, etc... to have a solution where you just add X amount per gallon. If you look at the percentage of water to actual other ingredients be it by weight or volume water is going to typically make up the majority. Those little bottles are mostly water. In many cases the packaging costs more than the ingredients. There's even companies repackaging potassium sulfate and selling 2 oz packages for $10. And people are buying it.

I'm going to stop now because if I don't check myself I'll go on a tangent and my post will become a 1000 page novel.

Lol. Now you mention it...they are selling water already for x10000 the price haha. Didn't think about it like that.

Using AN it was costing me hundreds a grow. Jacks 321...couple bucks
