Use a one gallon or a party cup to establish the roots. Then it will be fine to go in the ground when you getting 14 hours of light. Or you can use supplemental lighting.

If it warm enough outside then I do not see a reason that you can not do it. If there is a large temp. change them maybe not. What you could do to help is use cover, like a glass jar or soda bottle with the bottom cut off, and place it on the plant overnight. I have sprouted seeds in peat pots that go out during the day and in at night.

I always germinate 2 seeds for a few reasons. one is I will always end up having a better pheno out of the 2. second reason is i have a back up if say one or more of my plants gets eaten by my dog who happens to love eatting weed, cant fault him but that's why I and many others take many clones of a particular pheno....because shit happens, how we clean it up is what matters.

I know some of u may think they are just snails but i also don t wan t to hurt them even if they don t really feel pain
I hear you. I feel bad when I turn over the top few inches of my raised beds and worms end up on the top of the soil in the sun. I spend more time looking for them and covering them up than I do tilling the soil. I also don't spray anything that can harm bees on anything that's flowering in the garden. But slugs die. If I find them I give them a quick execution. I don't sprinkle salt on them or let them die slowly in the sun. But I have a couple of flat rocks that I use to smash them and kill them instantly.

I m worried that some little animal or a bird wil eat my seedling
I have to start plants very small outside. I use window screen to cover a 5 gal bucket. Yes, i grow in 5 gal bucket outside. This has worked great and allows plant to get some size so large plant eating bugs and mammals cant eat it. Spray homemade garlic spray all over bucket and surrounding area including plant. This repels deer, white flies, spider mites, etc. Hers is proof.
