Hey what’s up, I have a question and hopefully you guys can help me, long story short is I took a dying plant and got it back super good and the plant started with some soil with no nutes but I added foxfarm soil so I’ve been feeding it with what the soil has, my question is this, this is going to be the first nutrient feed and it’s super pre flower already ready to burst, it’s got the pistils and everything. I only have the fox farm trio, tiger bloom, growbig and big bloom, any advice? I would like to start the 24 hr darkness before the flowering already in these next days but I would like to hear another opinion please. Thank you in advance

I’m also using the Trio. When you can, can you try taking a picture with your light off? So you haven’t been feeding it anything right? How long ago did you add the Fox Farm soil? Which soil did you use and how much did you add?

It's hard to see anything with the blurple light on. Which soil did you start off with? Which fox farms soil are you using now? I hold off on feeding until the plant shows signs of being hungry. Take a look at the Fox Farms soil schedule. Only use 1/4 of the dose FF recommends at first, then increase to 1/2 strength. Full strength is too much and just wastes money.

I've never heard of a 24 hour dark period before flipping to flower. Is that a thing? I do 48 hours of dark before chop, but nothing at flip.

Sorry it took me a while, I used the FF with the fishes but it was when I transplanted, after that I’ve done it again but only with handfuls I put before feeding water but that’s it, the pictures are without the LED light and it kinda looks like N deficiency or a lockout? Maybe I’m not sure

I only have a few grows under my belt, but they don't look hungry to me. I'd start off real easy, 1 tsp of Big Bloom and Grow Big per gallon. Don't bother with Tiger Bloom until you do flip to flower. Wait and see how the plants react before increasing the dose.

I too have limited experience under my belt. I planted in FF Happy Frog. Now this might be different cause I planted seed and it grew from there as opposed to a transplant, but I waited until the lower leaves started turning yellow before feeding any extra nutes. Sounds like you’re using Ocean Forest and that stuff is known to be super hot so be careful. Especially is that plant has already had some stress in its life. Just my two cents. :blsmoke:
