Another drying question

Yeah get what your saying on leccy bill. Hps for a 400 watt plus extraction is about 30£ a month, which for the return you get on yield would pay for itself. Highly recommend. Sensi bloom a and b sweet, I wouldn’t be using carbo load or overdrive right now dunno if you are? From my experience dude plants don’t need loads of different stuff, the basic nutes A and B and maybe a bloom stimulator after the stretch in flowering is more than enough. Basically if plants look healthy don’t need to mess around too much. Anyways I got shit to do my end so I’ll catch you soon
Cheers man! Yeah I been using all 4 since day 45 which is nearly 20 days ago now... they seem okay just little yellow tips on the end of leaves! Catch ya later pal

SF1000, still growing, should be done real quick.
As far as not beating photo plants? Never even a concern.
I'm new so the word "AUTO" attracts newbs. Hence, my auto plant:)

New growers shouldn't be growing auto's imo unless they have a room and everything else dialed. What new growers prob doesn't stunt an auto? Overwater once.. or twice... , maybe feed too much, limited timeline.

Yooooo, dude do what you want put I’d leave out the over drive and carbo load, just need the basic feed, mayyyybe keep using the carbo load but I personally wouldn’t. Optimal Light is the one of the most important factors for juicy buds not all these additives. You gotta get yourself a high pressure sodium lamp dude. You good ?

I am thinking of getting rid of the overdrive and carboload, getting some weird colour leaves, ill do next feeds just with basic feed and see how it goes! I may do on next grow man, cheers for the tip. I'm all good, you?

Yeah all good dude my end. Trust me plants don’t need all these fancy additives. Literally only additive I use is a bloom stimulator halfway through flowering as well as the basic nutes. Plants get picky through out flowering so best to keep things simple

Hey guys, hope ya all doing well?
So after much thought and brain clogging, I found no other way to be able to achieve drying environments without spending out on a AC unit! I have just bought one which will be here in a week! My girl still has atleast 4 weeks left so gives me time to test etc... expensive addition but I bet I won't regret it!

My plan (hopefully will work but this is my first grow so I call it my 'experiment grow';)): as one is ahead of the other, I will chop my first girl down with the assistance from you guys telling me when she's ready, I will then partition half of my grow tent with reflective tarpaulin sheet (this is so one side is growing and the other drying) hoping to achieve a dark half (or quarter). In the dark side (drying side) i will have a humidifier being controller so won't exceed 55% but won't let it go lower than 45-50%. The AC unit will be in the same room where my air intake so the outside air will be set to 18 degrees c.
With this going on, the other side of my grow tent will be for the slower girl, with the light and everything else still as before.

My concern which I need your help with, can my slower girl cope with 18 degree c? Also, I know tarpaulin won't completely seal it so will I have issues with the slower girl if the humidity was to hit 55% on that side?

Sorry for the long post haha wanna know your guys thoughts on my plan!

Cheers!

Drying should be 60% Rh and 16-17 Celsius

there’s no way you’ll be able to keep these numbers with a plant still growing on 1 side of the tent.

just keep them all going until they are all ripe. You’re making this more difficult than it really needs to be.

I agree with this dude. Previously mentioned that it would be completely fine to let the girl that’s finishing before the other one go longer, I’ve let girls go longer for a few weeks because of situations and no separate drying area and it’s been fine as long there healthy.

Guys thank you so much for taking your times to read my post and comment, I guess coz its my first grow, I am a bit anxious... or maybe I smoke too much... haha either way, I will take both of your advice and let the faster girl go longer! Tbh it would make my life so much easier hahaha.
Ill be sure to post pics in the next weeks to see if the same advice stands.
Again thank you so much guys. Go and smoke a big one, you deserve it.

Now you can canx that ac unit lol save you a few quid. Although I do have a AC to use for drying if ladies ready to come down in summer, so it’s a handy bit of kit to have.
but yeah guess will check out the pics nearer the time. I don’t smoke anymore did for 20 years but love growing the best I can.

The AC unit you got have you got somewhere to exhaust the heat ? 25 degrees temp perfect , what’s the nighttime temp ? That lady who’s slower got some long pistils on it, might be an auto thing but never really had ladies myself like that. You defo gotta get on the photoperiod vibe and hps.
ladies looking healthy dude that’s the main thing, little tip burn but that’s pretty standard. What soil you using ?

100% consider dude, 400w hps don’t get too hot , enough lumens for two plants
I'm gonna look into it :)

Thanks mate, surprised myself let's hope its not beginners luck hahaha

I attached pics of the girly who's further behind :) see the difference! Knowing they both sprouted at same time! Defo something I've learnt on this run that autos are not exactly the same :)
