U might be on to something here. I did notice some of the tips curling inwards which seems to be nitrogen toxicity, if this is true then my 780ppm nutrient level might be a little too hot for them. Since you noticed similar spots and fixed it by lowering your dose, i will be doing the same and see if this stops the issue. That happened to me once when I was flowering two different strains in the same RDWC system. One of the strains couldn't handle the high nutrient dosage I was giving the other. At the time I feared it could have been a root issue, luckily it wasn't and she pulled through just fine after toning down the nutrients. That damage never goes away tho. It's like a scar for the leaf.
Yea man. Some strains prefer a lower dosage but constant. Once the root mass is developed they consume nutrients very quickly. I have my plants in 20 gallon containers and the roots fill up the entire container. I noticed they eat 200-300PPM's per day, so as they eat, I replenish. It's some times best to do side runs on new strains to see their cap on nutrients and PH preference.U might be on to something here. Its my 1st time growing gelato 33 and looks like this is a very demanding strain ( previously i did mac and loui 13 and never had issues even when hitting 1200 ppm)
I did add a little bit of Epsom salt yesterday since the stems are purple . ill update here when i get some news.
