PH problem

Hey guys, I am back with another nooby question ive tried to search for the answer on the mighty google, but have failed.

I aerated 5 gals of tap water for about 36 hours because I got busy, and I added my nuts from General Hydroponics Flora blend and some calmag+ and the PH was sitting at 9.0, and I added about 1ML of PH down to try to get in the 6.5 range but its just sitting at 8.6 now and im scared of adding to much PH down got any tips?

I've went back and forth with up and down in a gallon jug I use to water/feed with and I know I've used a bunch, multiple times. Never seemed to bother my girls at all. I say keep going til you get it just right. If you're still worried that the chemicals in ph down may hurt your plants, you can use lemon juice or Apple cider vinegar instead, but like I said, hasn't hurt mine at all.
