N in flower?

Hellooo!
I have an auto in mid flower, looking very yellow, i made a thread about it and FF said it looks like nitrogen deficiency. There was another thread, same problem, same stage, same nutes even (Canna flores A+B) and someone there also said N deficiency.
I always thought flowering was about P + K, hence the PK boosters. If she is N deficient, how much of an issue is that? Should i be looking to feed her N (by mixing in some Canna Hydro Vega)?
Here she is anyway :)
Cheers!

Calmag usualy solves n deficiencies, might want to clean up those dead leaves before you get bug problem.

When switching to flower many keep with veg nutes through the first week or 2 and then transition to flowering nutes. The plants always use at least a little N. What likely happened to you is through the stretch they needed just a little more N than they got. Feed proper flower nute formula now and monitor closely imo.

I would give it a couple veg feeds personally

next time don’t switch to bloom nutes until you actually see flowers form, I normally feed veg nutes for the first 3 weeks of 12/12 cycle
BK when switching to flower do you change anything in your feed to handle the increased need for N in stretch or do regular feeds do enough?

Ok thanks guys. The Canna Veg is 5:3:8, Flora 5:2:7, so both seem like that should be enough N, and i wouldnt be giving her more N if i went back to veg nutes...she's been a funny feeder, up until 2 weeks ago she didnt like anything over 600, its at 1200 now and if that stays stable im gonna bump it up more cos she just looks hungry (for something) to me....
She's due a rez change so ill have a go with the veg nutes maybe a splash of PK 13/14 give her a good feed and see how she responds.
Cheers!

It's not just P/K. Plants need nitrogen to produce flowers as well.

Too much P/K and not enough N can lead to smaller flower development.

N is needed for photosynthesis and for the production of chlorophyll which gives the plant it's green pigment. Without it you will get the yellowing of the leaves. Cutting out N too drastically will slow growth of the plant and can reduce the final yield.

A balanced feed from start to finish is what the plant wants. N is a macro nutrient and is needed by the plant through all stages of growth. Adding too much P/K can also lockout other nutrients causing deficiencies. Those high P/K boosters are not needed and can lead to the nutrient issues you're having now.

You should do some research on plant nutrition and what role each nutrient plays in the growth and development of the plant.

Good luck
