About 10 years ago Secret Jardin tents were pretty much top of the line, before Gorilla came out with their Heavy Duty models. My first tent was a Secret Jardin 2x2x5, that cost $125. I still use that tent to this day for starting seedlings and early veg. It has plastic corners but it is still a very heavy duty tent (for it's size) I needed more space for flowering so the next tent was a 3x3x6.5 Virtual Sun Hydroponics tent that cost $115. and it had the 2 door front opening similar to the gorilla style front doors and an all steel frame and 1680D canvas. I was pleasantly surprised with that tent. I used the 3x3 so much that I finally tossed it because the inside became so sticky from resin that it was a bitch to clean. I then decided to go with a cheap no name $100. 4x4 and I was not real impressed with it. The fabric was thin, there were issues with the zipper and light leaks, the poles were OK but had weak plastic corners. Anyhow, I have downsized due to space restraints and went with a Covert brand 24x48x79 and so far I am very happy with it. It has steel poles and the corners are plastic but they are very strong by design. I Like the extra height compared to some of the cheaper 2x4's. All in all it is a decent tent and I think the larger Covert 5x5 tent is 86 inches tall. I almost bought the Gorilla tent but the thing that I didn't like was that it only had 1 bottom, screened passive air vent vs. the Covert which has 2, not to mention the recent negative quality control reviews that Gorilla has been getting. Other than those 2 issues, I would have bought the Gorilla heavy duty version in a heartbeat, because I was looking for something with extra height, that will last me a good long time. Secret Jardin may not have the height but they are a solidly built tent, although some of their newer versions, the designs are different, with only 1 passive vent on the bottom. I hope some of what I wrote here about my experiences with different tents helps you make a good decision.
